Pwned, no I am at a high enough skill to kill, this has no skill (and recoil) its a basic run and gun game.....no skill needed
It is a BF re-skinned called something else

I was thinking recently that its probably unfair to compare MOH to what its being compared to ie BFBC2.

Two seperate types of games.

MOH is trying to be a COD type game, fast paced action and arcadey, it is not a BF game, so it shouldnt be compared to it.

I havent played the game yet.... and from the luke warm reviews I dont intend too.

You know a game is awful when it's attempting to be like an already utter ***** game. :p

(never played moh, probably never will...maybe when it's £5 in a bargain bin in a few months)
 
OP is rubbish and in regards to the game, I did actually think BETA was ok but not really what I want from my multiplayer game and with such a short singleplayer I don't think I will be buying this any time soon.

Taking obvious cues from the CoD series though. The damage system is pretty much exactly like the cod system, first MoH game to do so.

Be interesting to see what can happen with respawn and Zampella and co jumping ship to EA, infinity ward only exists now in name as i think as something like 50 of them have left to join up at respawn. Be somewhat ironic that they made Allied Assault (by far the best MoH game), then hammered ea with the cod series, then be back on the MoH bandwagon.

Hopefully Bowling the ******* isn't one of them that jumped ship...

Low skill player telling a forum of predominantly low skill players his opinion on MoH.

Two things mislead the reader here:
- That low skill players are good enough to have their opinion matter
- That MoH actually has weapon balance to properly discern skill at higher play levels

It's another dumbed down FPS for bads. You get your flashy constant stream of "oh my, look at what a big boy you are today!" popping up on your screen whilst you play badly on publics. You get your set of weapons balanced for a 3 year old to go on an endless rampage. Throw it on the pile with the rest, it doesn't warrant any actual care or attention and will go nowhere competitively.

even the single player? its a bloody fps how can you not compare it they are hardly different genres.


lets face it BFBC2 beats MOH like its a ***** step child no one wants when it comes to single player.

when it comes to multiplayer pretty much every online FPS released in the last 10 years beats it with furious vengeance while shouting "your a flaming turd"

As above, numbers speak volumes, EA plasma crashed for 2 weeks due to demand for BC2, they have nowhere near that problem here

And they had to cap new servers until about 2 months after release until their system could handle it

Agree RE: Having a good beta. What they should have done is delayed the release by a couple of months, had a proper open beta (not one which is a week before release). Get some opinions, feedback, make some changes, then release a decent game.

Most people are happy to play a beta knowing the full thing is going to be improved, and as you can see people are also pretty vocal about opinions on things.

In essence, they could have done a lot better, made more sales etc as a result of a better quality product.

I hope to jebus that BF3 is a much more polished game.
 
People aren't giving it a chance.

Quite a few members our end said the same things. We got them playing on game nights and opinions changed.

Its a bare bones shooter and its a solid one at that. Its COD4 but prettier. Just the right amount of extra stuff but nothing ridiculous.

I think personally its what MW2 should have been.

You cannot run about like a hero, like you can in every other FPS game, you need to camp it up.
Knowing where to hide on each map to maximise killing the nabs is crucial.

This game will not last, the nabs will tire of being fodder and the campers won't move to kill each other!

I'll stay play it, but hoping that black ops is better.

And lay off the alchopops Goon, nice rant!
 
As usual my choice of words were not suitable.... prehaps i should have said:

I'm getting cheesed off with peoplew ho havn't even played the game or giving it a chance saying either "Its rubbish and want a refund" after 1 days of playing it and other comments like "i'm not buy it simply because its had such bad reviews". I'm not saying there is anything wrong with that but why has it been spammed on nearly every page on the offical thread which has put so many people off?

The fact of the matter is i've seen no good arguement from anyone as to why this game is rubbish? All people have is "its a steaming pile of turd" (and i'm the one who get called childish)

End of the day as Gornal said its a bare bones shoot which imo makes COD look more arcadey and full of pointless rubbish!

Indeed mate.... wish i had a programme that stopped me from posting while drunk haha!

The good thing tho about the camping is the maps are small enough to eventually know where the spots are as there arnt to many... so it will make it easier to kill them once you know where they are. The trick with this game is to ambush as a team rather than go at it as a lone wolf.... our guys emptied our server after playing as a team on there.

I think it simulates more close combat, camping is a big part of any real life army tactic and imo DICE have found the balance, you need to work your way out and not run blindly in to open areas!!

Also..... I apologize to any1 i've offended.... It was a total OTT rant thread, just was sick of hearing bad press when bottom line its far far better than the reviews it was getting!
