BRINK

I don't have to prove anything to anyone thank you very much. And yeah 20 minutes was enough for me with the choppy lag infested gameplay, naff GFX and clunky controls.

I will let you know it was his account I play on, good m8's.

Riiiiight, your opinion's are now treated as invalid.

I've yet to see anybody who's played the game against other people for a decent length of time actually form a reasoned opinion on this. It's either a quick "it's rubbish, dn't bother m8" or slagging the game off because it wasn't as realistic as their faithful COD fix!

I'd happily lay this to rest in a week's time if people came back and said "I've given this a week and progressed through a variety of characters against many people online and I just can't get along with it for these reasons XYZ"

We already knew his opinions were rubbish. The joystiq review was a load of rubbish and that reviewer played for a couple of hours online, and somehow Raven thought he'd provide a balanced, unbiased opinion after 20 minutes... is that even enough time to finish a tutorial?

I'd also quite like to know why he types everything out in perfect English with punctuation and everything... and then keeps using the word 'm8'.

Still being an ****** I see. Come back with a real opinion after playing for a few hours and I may actually give half a damn about what you say :)

Give it a rest mate. He gave his opinion and i have held back thanks to this. I will wait for a demo or try a friends copy.

The same thing happened with bulletstorm, it was good for 10minutes and then became crap and boring. If developers still released demos like they used to then i think they would sell more copies of the game. People pirate PC games to see what it is like. After forming an opinion, if they like the game they will buy it. Multiplayer is largely effected if a game is pirated and usually results in pirates not being able to play a game online. A game like this would become very boring if it was mainly intended for multiplayer usage.

If you are biased towards a game and don't want to hear the opinions of others, i suggest an internet discussion board is the wrong place for you.

it's nice to see that there's another ***** just like me, oh hang around i'm even worst;)

chill out mate, because your posts are way too personal, how long does it take to find out that a game is crap? 20 mins is about right, because COD looked crap after only 10 mins, QED

I have no bias, I don't care if people dislike the game, I welcome people to point out flaws in games as it allows devs to correct these issues. What I don't welcome is someone playing a game for 20 minutes and attempting to give a half assed opinion which doesn't hold any weight. As I said, come back after a few hours of playing and I'll be glad to hear the thoughts on it, good or bad. The guy is known for doing this in the graphics card forum, which is instantly why I told him to stop bothering.

You just assume this is all for no reason, without understanding anything prior, as in what he's like all the rest of the time. If you want to believe his bull**** then jokes on you, not me for calling his crap out for everyone to read what he's like.

Aedus has called it right on this one. Raven has a reputation for exactly the sort of biased ranting he's been doing. He's had more than one suspension for it.

If anything Raven has given a bias view against the game and you are sticking up for him Shep! We are all trying to be neutral to we hear a balance user review which is informed and actually based on real time playing which we are likely to experience like for like when playing in a week's time. Not 20 mins of a stolen/pirated version against bots from somebody who isn't interested in the game, with no constructive posts/interest prior and allegedly, a track record of doing similar to derail other threads.

We all welcome discussion, but prefer a neutral discussion where we can make an informed decision to purchase said game!

It's like me installing WoW (with little interest in this genre), joining an American server with lag, running about and getting lost, then uninstalling in 20 minutes - coming on here to prospective buyers and telling them how bad it is and not to buy it!

Mine got dispatched yesterday, if it comes today so tempted to start a new steam account to put this on and play via VPN -.-

If you do you won't be able to play it on your main account, every time you want to play you will have to log into that account.

Not worth all the extra trouble for the sake of a day imo. ;)

Biased ranting on a PC game? if I have issues with it I will state my opinion, if you agree with it or not that's down to you, don't resort to personal attacks.

You have issues stemming from 20 minutes playing a game you 'borrowed'. In other words, you're talking out of the wrong end. No-one anywhere would call that grounds for a legitimate REVIEW of a game when you've barely got past the tutorial, now stop acting like you've expressed an opinion and not spewed a load of bs.

You've not said anything in this thread or expressed even the slightest interest in the game before you denounced it as terrible.
