Yeah..that was what I was referring to in terms of grenade spam

I haven't played CoD much/at all (depending on which iteration you're talking about) - how do grenades work in that?

See I like the game and I've played it about 15 hours or so now. I got to level 8 or so and reset all my levels as I didn't read you lost a level when you reset it and now I'm back up to level 9-11 (can't remember.)

It's really easy to exp up I find, I'm not as good as one of the people who put the screenshot up but I normally finished in top 3 and get around 5k + exp per game as an engineer. I literally just constantly buff peoples weapons and get 75exp per time.

Enjoying the game I must admit, annoying playing on my own though as people are idiots and the amount of times I've lost because people don't work as a team

People that post screenshots of their scores generally aren't that good - just egotistical.

Fair enough

Well in CoD4 Wet Work was the worst map ever for grenades. Just a long boat so you'd spawn and chuck your grenade forwards (or 3 of them) and do so everytime you died.

Apparently pc share of sales of brink was only 8%. I always knew that the money is in the consoles thats why everybody is leaving PC behind but I never realized the situation is so grim considering this game is enemy territory's grand son.

That's physical copies only though. I bet many if not majority of PC gamers have switched to Steam/similar stores by now.

Not that PC can ever compete with console games on week 1 sales. PC versions keep selling for a much longer time, though.

No digital sales though in any sales charts, so market share is always incorrect when it comes to PC.

Make sure you add the command 'seta com_machineSpec 3' in your autoexec as by default the game only uses 1 core.

Gave me a 40 fps boost.

Also, where is the auto exec?

Well I use this clever program that creates the autoexec for you.

Max it will let you set too is 3.

I wonder if I've already got this in my config and just forgotten about it. The game already seems to use multiple cores (though it doesn't fully load all six).

Don't use this command, it reduces my framerate by a lot even though I have a quad core. By all means try it out though.

Believe so! I must admit I wouldn't mind getting some clan action on this game I can imagine the clan matches being epic!

The only problem I have is the sound dropping randomly after a map, makes it unplayable. I have noticed that now players are higher ranks the games are a lot tougher, this forces you to stick together to complete the objectives.

great fun..
