Yeah, like I said when I tried that it loaded me into a server on my own. No bots, no one.

But it still doesn't explain why I see that banner saying offline and why I couldn't find the server on the browser.

You have to "View game info" copy IP / Port and connect manually. It's the only way i've been able to join friends.

As you can see from the screen I posted above, when I clicked on server info it said that FrenchTart was not in a game. I took the screen next to my clock so you could see the time.

I have been able to join friends by clicking join game or clicking server info and clicking join game.

Just the linktart server is eluding me

It's a bug, server will need a restart to get it in the browser list. We've had it several times now.
