Broken spark plug :(

Can you imagine Thorney fitting tyres for someone, putting the wheels back on and when driving the car away the wheels fall off. Thorney then says, "Sorry, not our fault. You should have checked the nuts were tightened."

That's exactly what this is.

Erm, I've been told to do exactly this by a couple of fitters in the past as nuts can work themself loose...

I agree it's a bad example, this is why you have a normally wheelbrace included when you buy a car and not a spark plug socket/ratchet and all the tools to remove the covers on modern cars.

So what you are all saying is that Thorney Motor Sport

Are a company best avoided because they have a huge reputation of breaking peoples cars and bodging their work backed up by excuses? In you opinion.

No, you might have a wheel brace if you actually have a spare wheel, this is for the purpose of changing the wheel, not really for checking wheel nut tightness, otherwise i'm going to need very strong teeth to remove the wheelnuts, why would a car maker want you to do any service items on the car?

i read some where recently a post along the lines of "i wouldnt take my lawnmower to them for a service"

i feel the same applies to

Good point, on cars with runflat tyres you don't even get a wheelbrace.

Their argument is stupid.

Certainly wouldn't take my car to:
