No issues. How has FTTP been in the hot weather? I assume in lightning storms etc it doesn't go down as copper used to
Great. My Plumes should be good for 1Gb although I think there is a newer one that I am hoping to trial.
On 500 what sort of speeds are people getting?
Mines been sold as a rock, mine also delivered via overhead poles so it must have got baked over the last few days. How has FTTP been in the hot weather? I assume in lightning storms etc it doesn't go down as copper used to
Of what, FTTP?Anyone got any speed tests?
Of what, FTTP?
Dragging up a slightly old post here. Do they exclusively use TT, or do they also use BTW too? I ask as I know they do PPPoE and TT (as far as I'm aware) is DHCP based. Or is it a case of Cuckoo being able to authenticate their own users?Cuckoo basically resell TalkTalk so you get to use the TalkTalk network without having to deal with TalkTalk
@RSR are you a home user? If so, how did you get TTB?

TalkTalk Business and Wholesale use PPPoE. They might use BTW as well but when I asked them they said it was TalkTalk.Dragging up a slightly old post here. Ah right. Who doesn’t use PPPoE as I thought it was TT.TalkTalk Business and Wholesale use PPPoE. They might use BTW as well but when I asked them they said it was TalkTalk.
Ah, thanks for clarifying. It is TalkTalk. TalkTalk home use DHCP, as do Sky. TalkTalk's wholesale services and their business ones are PPPoE.
Nearly died tonight. ONT box had the red LOS light on. Seems Sky had an outage for about 45 minutes. I thought my fibre line had broke. I really need to get a damn smartphone. Hurry up iPhone 14!
