A reply from Aquiss MD...Absolutely not, I've never noticed anything and I've downloaded multiple TBs over a short period with zero slow down.
We do manage P2P traffic if networks are busy, yes.

On Aquiss FAQ page the link to their traffic shaping more info is broken.A very vague response. They should have this information with plenty of detail, on their website.
This is how other providers do it:
Broadband traffic management
We want you to enjoy your broadband without having to worry about caps and limits. Our packages are completely unlimited, which means there aren't any usage caps, extra charges or speed reductions, even at peak times. We've signed up to the voluntary industry code of practice, and we're open...community.talktalk.co.uk
What about Traffic Shaping, Traffic Management, Traffic Throttling or Port Blocking?
A question that many services providers will hide in their terms and conditions or claim denial, or worst still, will deploy without notice. That's not Aquiss. Our approach is to be open and upfront, right from the start. This question normally comes from our more technical customers, so we have prepared a larger technical document which can be found by clicking here.
Just had an email from Sky saying it's going up £3 in April.
BT have the 500mb cheaper than in paying for 150 so can I just swap now? Our do I need to phone sky. I think I get 30 days no early termination charge.
I currently pay £32 for 150mb, it's going to £35.Bear in mind that BT prices will also be going up in April even if you sign up now.
In short if you want to avoid price rises don't re-contract until after they all go up.
I've had Full Fiber for years, it's a lot cheaper now than it was when I first got it. Think my first go with 150mb was £45.I think they knew what they were doing - get as many people onboard now and then price hike. Boom.
They not daft.
£17.99 VM M250, not had an email yet to say prices going up.
£12.00 O2 SIM
Both on 18 month contract but the streets not getting done with full fibre as of yet. Area is due with City fibre at some point.
I currently pay £32 for 150mb, it's going to £35.
BT is £30.99 for 500mb, is it likely to go up by £4+.
Just want to know do I have to cancel sky and be without internet for a while or can I just start a transfer with BT. It's usually done in 2 weeks isn't it so within the 30 days.
14.4% so if I change now I get 500mb for 45p extra a month Vs staying with Sky 150. Seems a no brainer.the BT price will go up by almost 15% at the same time.
Still need to get in touch, it wouldn't automatically deduct the early termination charge.Don't cancel with Sky, just place the migration order with BT. Sky will then be in touch to confirm if you owe them anything to leave (if you're not in contract then you won't). If you cancel then you will be without a connection.
