Well having unlocked my modem it's apparent that BT have not done something on their end as the stats are showing we should get top speeds!

Same issue as me, let me know what BT say when you get in contact.

Same issue with me too, upgrade went though and i was almost instantly on 79/18 , now i've been stuck on 20/18 since which is slower then the 38 i got previously :/

I have been with them 3 months, fantastic service and not an hour downtime.

Just tested again with the PC downstairs which is wired directly into the HH3 (I'm on 200Mbps powerline plugs upstairs) and got the above result ...

The upload I'm sure is just an error as it hits 15Mbps on testing but the download doesn't seem right still - the modem is synching at 79999 kbit/s and our max attainable is just over 91Mbps!

Will leave things till it's been 10 days though before contacting BT just to see if anything changes!

I knew the upto 80mbps seeds were coming and didn't realise it had been released till I read this thread which I've not visited for a while. Checked BT website and its there but when I clicked on upgrade and it went to test my line it said I could not have it as I do not have BT Infinity !

I have BT Infinity Unlimited.

So as it was late I emailed them last night. This morning they called me and the lady upgraded it for me over the phone. It goes live 30th April. I have been told 54/18 and the online checker said the same so will have to wait and see what speed I actually get.

I upgraded today. Same price, just extended my contract by a month. Activates in two days and should get nearly 70 Mbps.

I'm looking for FTTC for "upto" 80Mbps, right?

Anyone have a link to the Infinity rollout schedule? I'm pessimisticly thinking that they won't bothere here because Virgin seem to have the market sown up.

Hmm well. According to Openreach the Cambridge exchange (EACAM) is "Accepting Orders", but according to BTs website, all I can get at present is "upto" 6Mb/sec. Who do I believe?

Not looking good for Cambridge, only three accepting orders, no plans for the other exchanges

BT site (http://www.productsandservices.bt.com/consumerProducts/displayTopic.do?topicId=29017 ) always seems behind with info.

Could always give them a call 0800 800 150, & have chat about the openreach info you have, as they may have more up to date info compared to BT the site.

The 'exchange' maybe accepting orders but this does not mean your cabinet has been upgraded yet.

Prepared to get flamed but after various googling/trawling of as many pages on this thread as I have time too, I am a little in the dark still.

I already have Infinity 'unlimited' on one of the lines here (Farnham, Surrey), we get about 37.5 down constantly. I have gone to the upgrade link and all I get is "congratulations, you can upgrade to" exactly what we have now. No mention of up to 80meg, just the same 40.

Is there somewhere that you can see the status of the profile upgrades for existing cabinets? Guessing the reply might be the same as 2 posts up.

You're already on 17a, probably too far away from the cab.
