I think it is still trying to stabilize. Things look good though!

It's normally phone number OR service ID.

Cheers. i shall give it a go.

Edit to say that I get an error message that they cannot test my speed and if the problem persists I should contact my provider. It is early days I think, this is why. I only had the service installed yesterday, and when I called them today to say that my email was still not recognized as a BT one they said that my service was not active yet, and I should wait. When I pointed to the fact that I was actually using the service as we spoke they did some more digging and realized they needed to 'upgrade' my email, whatever that meant. After one minute of 'upgrading' I was all set...

Service ID can be left blank. You might need to wait a day or two before using the BT speedtester. Whatever you do, don't reset the modem!

BT customer service is absolutely abysmal.

First they tell me I didn't place a broadband order when I clearly did and just set me up a telephone line. Then next they change my fibre installation date to a week after what was agreed and don't bother to tell me! (I found out by logging into my account today!)

rung them to complain and all they gave me was a measly £14.60 back towards line rental and a 2Gb 3G dongle in case my internet stops working in the meantime.

Regretting deciding to change to them now! God help me if theres a problem with the line or something in future! :(

I kinda know how you feel, I've just ordered a migration from Sky as they wouldn't budge on price. My line is due to migrate on the 28th, and their email states that all the rest will follow automatically. I phoned them yesterday to check as I want to pay the line rental up front and they want me to call back on the 28th to sort out the payments and order the broadband as it won't happen automatically (like it states in their email) slightly disappointed that I have to do the leg work, but hey at least it's not a surprise...

Are you moving over from Sky FTTC?

66.5Mb/s if speedtest is correct. Need to know IP profile info from BT speedtest.

66 Mb is 66 megabits, right? You don't mean 66 MB (megabytes...) I am confused I thought 1 MB= 8 Mb, which would make my 3.49 MB per second an equivalent of 27.92 Mbps which indeed would be less than maximum throughput. What am I doing wrong here?
