I just switched from Be.. to BT infinity 2.
was with them for 6 years getting a nice stable speed all the time. only ever called them 3 times.

Can't moan. lets see what happens when i get me a VPN..

Anyone got a recommendations..
 
Another day another deadline passed for me. the Dga enquires email plucked 17/10/12 as an activation date for me from the sky, its no surprise that the checker still says 31st December

I'll get back on to them and see what they date they make up this time

I ordered like 2 weeks ago and still nothing in the post yet, the engineer is due to pop round next Tuesday!

Should I be worried?

On the BT site my order said i would get it on the 15th. it came on that day (monday)

then 17th i would be live. (today)

funny as the guy came in with both the VDSL & the Hub. i said i already got it. so im sure they have them just incase.
i plan on getting a Asus N66u though.. this hub is poop.. kinda like the same as the Be ones.. i think they are both made by Thomson
 
Absolutely livid at the moment, BT said they would call me today to give me a new appointment, they have an hour left before the line closing time.
I'm calling them instead now, because I checked their site and my appointment has changed from yesterday, to the 6th of November. My current connection will be gone a week before that date, so that's unacceptable.

forget a VPN go with a newgroup your be amazed at the download speed :) i get 9MB/s !
 
yea been getting 8.9mbs in torrents.. myself..
but VPN will be for other stuff.

Anyone know when they take the first Bill for the BB+Postage?
all it is telling me is that i have to pay line rental. oct 24th.

Nothing about BB or postage for the hub.

would it be on my next bill 24th nov?

Did try to ring, but got fed up talking to robots. stupid automated system.
 
i think bt are doing less throttling of torrents or is it just me


BT have ****ed me off this week need to book an bt engineer to reset my profile line really? so all he will do is come round and call up bt wholesale for a line reset
why cant just they do it over the phone all this hassle is not needed

has anyone had a problem where the sync speed is the same no matter how many time you reset the router

can the modem sync at different speed without it getting reset? didnt lose connection but line sync now Line rate (kbit/s) 48997 instead of 42

hope it goes back to 79999

speed its still around 40mbits tho

pings were 35 now back to 15

bt dude will be here monday hope when he resets it will put me back onto fastpath again which i had for 5 months fine 5ms pings..:P
