Buying the Mrs a hoover for christmas. Good idea or not?

firstly the op has fled haha :D
secondly I would be more than happy to have a shiny new vacuum for Xmas I really dislike ours its too heavy, If your woman moans she is a being ungrateful.......yes I am a woman
 
If you're going to buy it for the house anyway's what's the harm in wrapping it up and giving it to her, it'll be a laugh, just make sure she's opened all her other presents first, and you're saving the big one for last. Just make sure you tell her, you've just bought it, and that it isn't actually a present for her, if not, it will go down bad.

Id be really happy if the lovely seabiscuit bought me one actually and, I love cooking so pans are cool too. Also when you have a mortgage sometimes household appliances are what you need not want.
Some women should treat their husbands a little kinder if that happened there would be fewer divorces. :)

For men if they got a new drill or tool set they would be pleased, even if a woman bought the man a household appliance he would be chuffed. But for woman they want things that they can show off to their friends and stick in a draw and wear once a year. OP. Don't be tight, buy the wife a Hoover right now. Then get her something she wants for Christmas (as in something just for her not the house)

Just wait until you been married a few years and you have your pans and hoover. Then one Christmas when you are expecting something special the lovely Seabiscuit buys you a hoover……

I bet you won’t be very lovey-dovey then. :D
 
Mrs. S. - pie dishes are my weakness, and baking tins - can buy me as many of them as he likes.

I dunno, I just think a hoover is for the whole house, same as a kettle (yep, got one of them for christmas one year :( )

We have things when we want it throughout the year, so it's just nice to open a gift whatever it may be. I dint give to receive hehe. So Sim what is Mrs Sim getting for crimbo?? :cool::D:D

Every husband makes the mistake of domestic gifts at once but never again :D

I still bare the scars of a hot iron between me legs :/ Will teach me to take them off first!
