I'm having fun running the STB-50 with lockwood 300. Got fed up running SMG's/Assualt rifles. I've been working on my first shot accuracy. The STB can be devastatingly effective at both short and long range.

Try it in Tier 1. It is brilliant.

Think I'll do the marksman rifle that looks like the G3 next. Loved that gun in the original MW
 
How are people doing that glitch in DMZ to get loads of money at the start of the game? Spamming ammo boxes and then bags of cash? How does that work?

Something to do with having some cash drop next to a weapon and how you stow the cash. Causes a glitch that puts you up to 1.3 mill cash which is enough to fully level 2 weapons if you extract apparently.

I only know because I killed someone and nearly fell over when I saw how much cash he had. Then the same happened when I killed someone else so thought something was off. Googled it and there it is.

I can see that getting patched fairly quick

The 3d surround is better in DTS. It sounds more spacial, Atmos sounds more confined is what I'm currently finding for MW2 anyway. If you use the extra spacial setting it sounds too fake though.
Still playing about with it though so shall see after a bit more time with it.

They've patched the using the buy-station with the money to give you loads of XP, the current work arounds is to put the money into the 'Dead Drops' (the big Grey dumpsters). I tried to do the glitch as I was stuck on the mission to exfil with 6 kill streaks and it wouldn't work for me. Managed to legit do the mission finally so not bothered.

If it was for footsetp audio alone, DTS is a clear winner to my ears. I could hear folk ages away. I was on the containers near shoothouse office and could hear people away to run through the tunnel bit. That was with an air strike coming in behind me.

Ive been looking at DTS and Atmos. With Atmos at least, it's best to select stereo instead of headphone. I need to try this later, as ive been using Headphone

I tried DTS and tried switching a few times between DTS and Dolby Atmos.
Either im used to Atmos or lack of headphone selection in DTS but to me, DTS sounds a lot worse. It seems to quieten all other ambient sound apart from voice comms and footsteps and it just made the game (Warzone 2) a bit 'lifeless'

I might try (and buy) it again in future if the DT1770s get added to the headphone selection
 
I usually play with just speakers but got some corsair virtuoso xts on a Black Friday deal. I'm no audiophile by any stretch, nor am I used to playing with headphones on, but using Dolby Atmos with them is like a whole new level of experience for me.

Footstep audio is clear. Where before I wouldnt have a clue I can now hear when someone is near me. Can also pretty much work out where gunshots are coming from. Distance, direction, etc. May be standard fayre for headphones, I dunno, but I'm bloody enjoying it.
