Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare / Warzone (Battlenet ID's in OP)

Found WZ2 unplayable tonight because of lag. Was doing really well in DMZ, just taken out a HVT, on the way to LZ and then lag, freeze frame, dead!

Had a 4 games of duos tonight and had no problem with lag ~45ms latency most of the time.
Think it depends if you hit an aweful server / one that's on the other side of the world maybe instead of UK or Europe

How are you getting on with your 5800x3d in this Guest2? I don't know if it was the servers tonight but my games of MW2 were definitely on the lumpy side. CPU time said 3/4/5 ms so it looked fine, just felt horrible

Servers can be pretty bad on the weekend but they have improved since launch probably because of less total players. If I stay on a laggy server it normally recovers by the time half the people in the game have died off suggesting server cannot handle the load for whatever reason :p
 
Is there any mode which is good for very casual late evening solo 1-2 hours fun? I’ve not got time to get into long story driven games as by the time I get into the story it is time to turn off.

No dude you can be as fresh as a daisey and still do the mission. Just try and take in a gas mask if you can and a spare, most if nto all AI in the ring drop extra masks - RPK or something along those lines to get him down quick. Or camp outside teh ring wait for a squad to come out, at this point they're normally low on shields and or health/stims and you can jump them and take the m13.

Really well now i've left it alone and not undervolted it or anything and set XMP on RAM.
Had a couple more games just now (duos) no issues, couple of really good games

Definately. I can usually tell in a lobby if its worth just jumping out and restarting. If the latency is 100+ in the lobby its usually going top be similar mid game and unplayable

All good, up to around 70c I think. I usually have no monitoring software running so just look at the motherboard through the glass case door the LED reading

Edit, ill try now in a solos. Flying a chopper through Mazra city the CPU hit 70c when at stock settings. So still 20c of headroom.
Quite hard flying a heli low through the city whilst also ducking my head down to see into my PC to read the temp :D

Solos is great fun but its domino effect sometimes. I shoot at someone, sniper hears and sees the firing and I get sniper then on the killcam you see the sniper also about to get killed...

Quick tip, you can no longer use a vehicle to kill the chemist as the vehicle disables when you enter the radiation zone, drive as close as you can to the zone with a vehicle that has a turret machine gun on, enter the zone so the chemist appears then use the gun to shoot down all the AI players.
