If Ferrari continues to implode, Max is going to have zero pressure and won’t be making the same mistakes as last year. That, coupled with a WDC*, will give him the confidence he needs to see it out in style.

Leclerc had the exact same issue while trying to make ground in the middle of the race. As did Bottas when battling in the midfield. It seems either the Ferrari engine isn't as punchy off slow corners compared to others.
He wouldn't have jumped Hamilton and Russell before the final SC. Ocon was way behind.

Hamilton should be a record 8-time world champion, Merc should’ve had the double, and Max/RB win this year. The world is in balance.

Good recovery for Charles, and George in a way. Not a bad race but didn't really enjoy it either. 6/10 from me
I reckon he would have given this season a go to see if he could have made it nine, then potentially retired at the end of this season having realised the new Merc wasn’t going to cut it… but who knows.

For sure, but I think people need to be realistic. On pace alone, the Merc is still #3 on the grid, and today just reinforces that.
Normally something given from the teams or F1 themselves to influential people. Or investors, potential major investors, sponsors.
Not something the average person would be able to get.

Sainz couldn’t get close enough out of the final hairpin and Max just used all of his battery putting down a gap just big enough to keep him from passing.
Not buying the Merc revival that Crofty was going on about. If Leclerc was up in his usual position and Perez didn’t retire they’d both be 2 places down in 5th and 6th at a minimum.
