*** Car Wash / Valet / Detailing Thread ***

woke up this morning with an email from Imram @in 2 detailing, and they've offered to repair/replace my battery sprayer

he's just given me an address to send it back but not offered to pay for postage etc, but at least i should be getting another one free of charge :D
 
Turtle Wax so far being a bit of a ****show for me. Ordered 2x of the triple pack. They took payment straight away on Sunday, no order confirmation. Come Monday, no delivery, "fine" I think it'll be here Tuesday. Nothing on Tuesday so dropped them a message to give me a call through their 'contact me'.

Still no delivery today or email/call from them.

I have Auto QD and us it as a quick detailer and drying aid, I don’t think it’s the best for a rinseless/waterless wash imo, too expensive as you say.

No reply via twitter or their website contact but managed to find a random CS email via google which worked. They've basically said got swamped by orders, system went bleurgh and they're out of stock but will send once they're back in.
 
here's a question for everyone -

When protecting your wheels do you need to use a dedicated wheel wax or can you use any wax that use use for the bodywork ?

Did you get any comms from them at all? I still literally have nothing from them showing what I ordered! The box that turned up didn't even have a sales invoice.
 
Nope nothing from turtle wax themselves,
No sales invoice in the box or an electronic one either.
I had 2 emails from the couriers, onesaying they'd received the package & then one when it was out for delivery

I didn't even get the courier contact! Apart from the money missing from my account there's literally no evidence of what I've purchased/made a purchase at all.
 
What shampoo wash do people recommend? I've had meguiars shampoo plus in the past and currently using gtechniq shampoo, but it's quite expensive and I'm not sure it's worth the expense.

Seriously though, after my Autoglym is up , I will be going over to Bilt Hamber Auto Wash
