DLSS 3.5 is what a 40 series supports.
DLSS 4 is 50 series only.
nah, I posted the feature table earlier from Nvidia. Only MFG is 50 series only.

While today was a disappointment from amd not to showcase what they have, I'll hold fire on whether the product is a dud or not when we actually see it. My expectation was it would perform like a 4070ti with much improved RT (over rdna 3)and be 16gb. If that's the case and it's priced around 400 it's a good card and will fit most people's budget and performance requirements.Because AMD have had the benefit of the doubt so many times before and today they not only fumbled again, but wasted everyone's time who was interested in their products. Before the conference most were really positive they would be able to turn the ship around. Intel are our best hope for true competition now IMO.
I'm a disappointed parent. I know they can do better lol.Why you being so hostile toward AMD bruv?
Likewise I'll not get carried away with things like the 5070 being as good or better than a 4090 until I see independent reviews.
I can't disagree with the shambles amd are when it comes to marketing and it's actually unfathomable how they are so bad at it for so long.
I hope so, but how often has it been the case a company acting like this is hiding a great product? While today was a disappointment from amd not to showcase what they have, I'll hold fire on whether the product is a dud or not when we actually see it. I think you need to go onto the Nvidia website and go to the DLSS section.. it's all there in black and white that DLSS 4 is supported on 4000 series cards and below to 2000 series.DLSS 3.5 is what a 40 series supports.

Correct to make it fully support what Nvidia call DLSS 4 now features.nah, I posted the feature table earlier from Nvidia. Only MFG is 50 series only.

They fumbled the zen5 launch as well. Marketing is definitely an issue. Not sure it's marketing that's the issue really. Their CPUs are massively successful because they are industry leading performance. They don't have good GPUs and they are falling behind. Marketing ain't gonna fix that.
Not for CPU they're a buggati. Not a Hyundai. They fumbled the zen5 launch as well. Marketing is definitely an issue.
They do have good cards, but they ballsed up the pricing and then later had to reduce them, again marketing.
A Hyundai is a perfectly acceptable car but not at BMW pricing. That's AMDs problem, they price themselves at BMW levels when they are Hyundai level.
Absolutely, just so it's clear, I was referring to their gpus with my analogyNot for CPU they're a buggati. Not a Hyundai.
Exactly... so 40 series owners don't go fire sell your cards... don't forget the 3070 is the same performance as a 2080Ti game too.... Wait for reviews and don't feed Nvidia unless you have to and need the upgrade. But mumtiframe gen won't be and that is where all these performance numbers used by nvidia are coming from. Using that.
