Champions League Spoilers 21st/22nd Feb

He's had to deal with it from childhood though. I reckon having to deal with it from such a young age makes it easier to adapt to it than having to later in life.

I would love to see Chelsea get a real hammering in the return leg.

A humiliation. Perhaps 4 or 5 nil. A hattrick from Messi and a goal a piece from Etoo and Ronaldinho would be excellent.

Chelsea need a good stuffing. In particular, the insufferably arrogant and jumped-up twit Mourino.

I know, at least it was OK for Benitez to spout off about Robben though, as his players have never cheated;)

They certainly dont cheat to the extent of throwing themselves to the ground in the way Robben did or how Del Horno was rolling around on the ground and screaming yesterday.

Interesting add on article here: http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/europe/4742654.stm
Does Jose Mourinho believe it is impossible for Chelsea to lose without it being down to a mistake from an official or an act of cheating?

Its always the case that people want to see the best team fail, so I'm not surprised people want Chelsea to lose...

Yes they do.

Name a few then
Kewell an uncountable amount of times has gone down/dived far too easily.

Kromkamp did almost exactly what Robben did a week or too before Robben's antics, except his was worse because no-one actually touched him whereas Reina deserved his red card.

Ill agree that Kewell will take a dive, but in no way the same kind of, what can only be described as acting, from Robben and Del Horno. Also Kromkamp didnt do what Robben did, yes he dived and it was utterly ridiculous, but he got up and didnt roll around on the floor acting injured like Robben and Del Horno did, when clearly they werent (trying to force the ref to give cards). To say Kromkamps was worse is an absolute joke. Kromkamp was also very new to Liverpool and the premiership at the time and was told by Benitez afterwards that sort of thing wasnt acceptable for a Liverpool player.

To try and compare them is ridiculous, small dives have become a part of football sadly, but the theatrics coming from some players is pathetic.

Surely its either a dive or its not? Both are dispicable and I'd have a go at Leeds players if they were diving - I used to do so with Kewell though he seems to do it more these days. Robben dropped to the floor like he'd been felled by a heavyweight's punch but he had actually had someone offend against him.

So what do you call the blatent timewasting from Garcia at the Birmingham game - he put the ring from his finger in his mouth when examined by the 4th official, then took it out and put it back on his finger when running on, then made sure that the ref sees it and he has to go off again to take it off, thus running down the clock and giving his team a breathing space against Birmingham who were trying to get back in the game.
Pre-meditated gamesmanship - cheating in other words.
Stop being so high and mighty - it happens all over.

Im sure you're fully aware theres a different level to these things. As i said and has been said by the pundits recently, 'going down' has become part of the game (not saying i like it). But acting injured and going down like you're been shot by a sniper and acting out an injury is unacceptable.

I am not fully aware actually. One is cheating and the other is cheating. Acting injured and going down is no worse than taking a dive.
