Chemical attack in London...

Male, about 35, names Abdul.

Yeah, details on the bbc just now.

  1. Police name the suspect in the alkali attack in Clapham, south London, as Abdul Ezedi, 35
  2. He was last seen in Caledonian Road, north London, and police warn the public not to approach him
  3. Ezedi - who police say travelled to London from the Newcastle area - has a "significant injury" on his face

Punishments are way to light in the modern era. Something like this should mean hanging. He'll probably get 10-12 years, or say voices told him to do it and get a reduced sentence...

I think it is in the top two or three lowest crime counties in the UK officially, there is plenty of violence in my opinion.
Just to name a few from memory, girl gets stabbed to death in a car park by her own dad, man gets stabbed to death in some drug dispute, old woman gets a bad beating after telling her neighbours to turn the music down, young lad gets a bad beating on a night out and kills himself, man is tied up and thrown off a bridge by vigilantes, my nephew gets repeatedly attacked on night out, work mate gets jumped walking home, another work mate gets beat up. School girl gets beat up and put in coma by other school girls who took turns stamping on her head.

Literally everyone I know has stories of violence, if you dont then Im happy for you.

Counties are pretty big.

Plenty of nice safe quiet little villages in Wiltshire, but Chippenham and Trowbridge have some right ****hole areas.

Exactly, it sounds like Dave28 is living in one of the not-so-nice areas of his county. His harrowing stories of violence make it sound absolutely horrendous!

Don't be such a pussy, at least own your racism.

Fellas, is it racist to not assume that the name of the suspect in what appears to be an "honour" attack was equally likely to be something like Frederick or Gideon?

You don't need to completely remove your brain in order to virtue signal about not being racist. What next, accusations of sexism and ageism when it turns out the suspect is male and not an old age pensioner?

And there it is.

I need a badge.

Have to say, racism or not, my mind jumped to that. Not sure if it's because we hear about it more when it is someone from that background or its genuinely a correlation. But it's what I thought.

That's exactly where we are :D

"you couldn't pay me to live in that lundun"

I like London, the food is great, the transport is good, I love the history and the museums. It's just a shame that we let it go and it's not the same place it was 25 years ago.

I wouldn't stress... The very people that try and shame you for your assumptions also have their very own assumptions. They feel some kind of moral superiority because they have hidden theirs, whilst calling you out on yours, rather than have the confidence to state them like you have done.
