I would but the standard P5k mobo dont have those settings.

Realist can you set the following voltages in the Bios:

CPU Voltage Multiplier to x 1.078
NB Voltage to 1.5V
CPU VTT Voltage to 1.5V
PLL Voltage to 1.8v

Dram Freq: 930
Dram Rate: 2T
Timings: 4 4 4 15
Vcore: 1.5375v
Dram Voltage: 2.20v
North Bridge: 1.40v

The lowest Vcore will go is 1.5125v any lower and it fails to boot.

I have to remove a strip of ram, boot to bios and change vcore, save and then replace the ram.

Strange or what!

Im running prime now on the main PC for 24 mins, no errors reported (using laptop now) and details are:

Multi: 6
FSB Strap: 333
FSB Freq: 455
PCIE: 100
Dram Freq: 930
Dram Rate: 2T
Timings: 4 4 4 15
Vcore: 1.5125vv
Dram Voltage: 2.20v
North Bridge: 1.40v

But the temps are: 83-81-73-73.

High or what!

Will do the above changes now.

At x7 I booted into Vista ok but after running a few programs I got the BSOD.

I have noticed that when I cant get to the bios and I have to remove one stick to gain access, the ram I remove is hot.

I'll try anything once M8 but Im running Super PI and Im up to 8M test and so far no errors.

No, the multi is still at 6 cos I had the BSOD the last time I tried 7.

Ok, will try that tomorrow M8, bit late now but I thank you for all you valued help.

I think the biggest problem I have is heat and Im tempted to re-lap the CPU and cooler but I dont know if that will help.

But will post back tomorrow with the stress tests at 7x.

Just tried a short test of prime and temps at 80.

Ummm anyone with a house size cooler.

I have 2 Freezers here one lapped, one standard and I've used the both and none effect the temps so in my mind lapping the cooler just does not work.

I will scroll through my threads and see what is the lowest I have had my temps at idle just as an idea and try and find out if these low temls was before I lapped or after, if its before Im thinking I didn't do a good job at lapping cos it was not like a mirror finish but dull.

Will if needs be get hold of a TT120 but that will be when I get some cash together and when the new tube of silver comes.

Scrolled through this thread and my first post regarding temps was here: http://forums.overclockers.co.uk/showpost.php?p=10605356&postcount=20 and they are low at idle.

Something is wrong cos running back then at 3200 and the temps at load was 50ish and now my temps are 50ish plus idle.

Will check seating of the cooler, redo the tim with what I have and see if that helps.
