Edit:

6x455=2.730Ghz
7x455=3.185Ghz
8x455=3.640Ghz
9x455=4.095Ghz

have you managed to boot back into windows completely

at 455 FSB?

Ok mate can you tell me the vcore as see now in the Bios please. After you post the Vcore V. Can you run a prime test for approx 30 minutes. And post back please temps as well (it should pass 30 min of prime stress)

Hold on:D can you bring the Vcore down until you are unable to boot into windows. Then raise until you can boot into widows before prime is run please
 
The lowest Vcore will go is 1.5125v any lower and it fails to boot.

I have to remove a strip of ram, boot to bios and change vcore, save and then replace the ram.

Strange or what!

What is you ram voltage (manufactures recommendations)

Edit: Set ram to 2.0v and Vcore to 1.5225v and run prime

can you post back a CPUZ and core temp shot when running prime please Realist

Im running prime now on the main PC for 24 mins, no errors reported (using laptop now) and details are:

Multi: 6
FSB Strap: 333
FSB Freq: 455
PCIE: 100
Dram Freq: 930
Dram Rate: 2T
Timings: 4 4 4 15
Vcore: 1.5125vv
Dram Voltage: 2.20v
North Bridge: 1.40v

But the temps are: 83-81-73-73.

High or what!

Will do the above changes now.

Can you lay the PC down on its side so the full weight of the HS is applied to the IHS, i hope this will reduce the temps?.

You need to stop prime with those temps btw.

Edit no errors reported still a good sign, just got to get those temps down. Lets see what we can achieve in the mean while;)

Can you up the multi to x7 and post back please

I have noticed that when I cant get to the bios and I have to remove one stick to gain access, the ram I remove is hot.
 
The ram needs a memtest imo, do you have a fan to blow over the ram by chance?

Edit First~ lets memtest the ram (ensure there are no errors) This Bios issue/ ram needs to be resolved.

The best way forward is to re-set the machine back to stock and memtest the ram. Without ensuring the ram is free of errors there is going to be a problem, especially with gaining access to the Bios issue.

What do you think Realist?
