COD Black Ops looks pretty good on PC

Hmmm, game looks like MW2.

I think im gona skip this. I didnt enjoy MW2, particularily the small team sizes. 6v6 dont like it.

Also being made by Treyarch. Didnt like WAW or any other Treyarch cod.

I hated Oblivion but Fallout 3 was one of my favorite games, I wouldn't skip a game because it's made by a developer I don't like. I don't like bobby kotick but I still bought SC2 and Black ops.

Quite a lot of Gray Matter employees are now at Treyarch, and Gray Matter made the best CoD game out of all of them (United Offensive).

Technically it was an expansion yeah, but it had a brand new single player and a brand new Multiplayer with so many new features that it could easily have been released as a stand-alone game. The only thing it had in common with CoD1 was the engine, everything else was brand new. I still consider it a game, instead of an expansion. Foy alone, both as a single player mission and multiplayer map would have been an outstanding game if that was all that was in it.

Back on topic, please tell me that the PC version isn't locked to 18 players online again? I'm hoping with dedi servers back its unlocked again?

TBH I don't like that type of thing - World at War was the same and it was a bit unsettling at times. AFAIK it didn't have an option to turn off the realistic gore?

Ranked servers are 18 slot, un-ranked servers will have the option to up this to a so far unkown maximum.
 
iv'e been trying to see the New Vids of Zombie Mod, as soon as they get added to tinternet they quickly get removed by Activision, but iv'e heard that the 4 new maps is the pristege and hardcore additions are the same maps as in WAW but are only using the COD BO engine, but it might be a case that Treyarch will be releasing updates with extra maps. im just abit confused why Activision are trying to hide the zombie game play, even though very shortly when the game is released loads of vids will be posted.

Un-ranked is the way to go imho. All you need is a decent admin, turn all the rubbish off, set the server up for pistols only for example. As long as there is quick options to boot off trouble makers, job done, gg.
 
Just ordered mine from the "every little helps" - shop. This is going to be enjoyable. Also quite pleased with the £29.99 price tag (using the code posted a page back) Didnt really fancy paying over the odds for it.
