That's interesting considering the MW2 folder is 12GB in size.
Just realised you are presumably referring to the Steam ad which says '10.11.9' - for some reason they have put the date back to front - 10 is the year, not the day![]()

Maybe the graphics will look rubbish with low res textures etc, and they have added more gameplay gimmicks?. Maybe the sp is a couple of hours long on a few missions?. I saw some sp gameplay footage and it looked rather pants imho.If MW2 is 50% bigger it makes me wonder if there is somehow less content overall in Black Ops.
I'm not so sure it does compress them TBH, I mean once a game downloads it is ready to play (apart from the typical directx / C++ runtime installation stuff).
