Can't play atm, but game loads fine, browsed to TFU server, saw 17 on with 1 space free :/

The exact opposite, the menus, servers are all fine for me. It's as soon as I get in the game it lags like a bitch!

The SP crashes every single time I have tried to play it :(

It's weird, I haven't had one problem since release.

Do you have on board sound?

Nah, only just seen the config tweaks that someone posted further back, might try them at some point but like someone said, a release like this shouldn't have to be tweaked to that extent.

I don't ever remeber tweaking anything for COD4!
 
Well it now works, that was a convienient patch! Having said that I just went in with my new g500 mouse and hadnt bound any of the controls yet so kept just getting killed next to people because I had no knife button lol. 3 kills to 8 deaths in ffa lol i suck.

CoD4 release had to have a few tweaks if I could remember, but then again I've always used a config file.

cod 4 was as bad! it wasnt until like cod 1.3 - 1.4 that is was almost bug free.

most games have bugs when they released bfbc2 was worse than this but it is cod so rage is always there on release :D
 
I'm getting no lag at all or very very little, the patch has fixed the random crashing too.

also getting 125fps solid now, it did flux before.
 
3 things, why in gods name can't you change killstreaks (or even set them per class), what is the point in the contracts when you can't purchase them without leaving the current game, and wtf is with the level up bug refusing to promote me and instead going to -6000exp etc.
