COD Black Ops looks pretty good on PC

I suck at using the theatre... I want to track a tomahawks flight, but the camera is either to fast or too slow to follow it... does anyone have any tricks?

I've come across this problem as a director many times in the past (filming on other programs).

There's 2 ways:

The best way I found is to start about a third way toward the middle of the flight and then move along the flight-path tracking the object as you go turning to face the direction it's going in.

The other is to use more than one take - editing the start, middle and end of the same flight from different angles together for a 'multi-camera' effect...
 
I've said before I don't think they know what's wrong or its unfixable, patch release notes are non specific and a shot in the dark,

10+ of our clan have played this on a range or hardware and no one has zero issues, some have i7s some quads and some amds

Fair enough if some say they don't, but I bet the 17 others in your match do, and that makes it unplayable,

Looking forward to shot in the dark 4, people playing with the sound disabled need a shake, that's a joke

If there was a wish list for theatre, being able to change your camera movement speed with the mouse would be high on the list!

(Amazing tomahawk kill by the way... some guy killed me so I spawned up, launched the tomahwak skywards towards where he was tood, it hit a crane, then the ground before getting him in the spine) Love the tomahawk in this! Roll on home time!

i have put maxpackets 60 and snaps 30...

I'm playing always 60FPS because my screen is not working with more FPS only 60 xDD


So is better 60 in maxpackets or 100 knowing i'm playing always 60FPS

I would say the best setting for you would be maxfps at 55 and maxpackets at 56.

I have the best one ever.

Some nights I can play 6 hours no problem.

Other nights, after a few games my PC turns off :) It's epic!

Yea I was thinking that, I have no idea what it would be. Have the latest drivers for everything (afaik.) Have tried different clock speeds from 3.8, 4 and 4.2 doesn't really make much difference.

Dunno but your computer shutting itself down can't be good. And oh yeah it must be so terrible having computer parts over a year old, how do you cope :p

Actually good point mate, it has never happened and I've run many games with everything on max. Like I said some days it does it, others it doesn't :(

TBH I haven't seen many good ones but I have seen lots of cheap shoddy looking ones. (I'd put Forde's one above in the former category)

Yes they should have given you the option of saving different designs, having several slots etc. Perhaps they could do that in a patch.

What does yours look like? ;)

Problem is, there's not that much editing that you can do, so the good ideas just look crap! :(

@cHk4 - Sorry if it sounded sarcastic in my reply, wasn't intended. Problem is, it could be anything. I had a problem like that a while back, but I had too much to trial and error, so I just reinstalled Windows and it never happened again.
