That's the problem though not many do make a difference, not universally anyway, and also most involve lowering the quality of your system or the game, how's that a fix

i just put blackops.exe at low priority seems the stutter is a lot better. but still get the frezze and the odd crashes.

ffs just spawned 3 times in a row - got 0-2 shots off with the M14 then all further clicks = nothing no firing = dead... how the **** does a game get released this broken its about the only weapon I can use in ffa due to the low rate of fire, anything else = almost locking up with the stutter.

Found since the patches I'm now getting random lock-ups; either with black screen or random textures like i've just clipped through a wall.

It was working fine for me on release though

it was only a matter of time, im sure the mw2 hacks are pretty much slightly recoded for BO, at least this time admins can ban.
i think one of the problems though is that some people simply dont understand the perks especially something like ninja or ghost and then accuse people of hacking.

I would say the best setting for you would be maxfps at 55 and maxpackets at 56.

(maxFPS 85 i did not touch it anyway doesn't matter because I'm using V-sinc) Right?

it wouldn't let me create a class either last night, i bought the M14, attachments yadda yadda, pressed escape (as i always do) and i still had 20,000+ cod point things?? went back into create a class and i had to buy the M14 again

Doing this fixed my stutter too (I also shoved AA as far as I could go without hindering performance). On the steam forums there's a better explanation but it would appear the game engine may still be relying on the CPU more than the GPU due to the console nature. Forcing it to low priority basically strangles it's CPU time so it shoves more on the card is the general thinking - I have no idea how true it is.

If I get sound stuttering i found /snd_restart fixes it (takes about 1s to restart).

Seeing a lot of people cheating even if they fix the stutter its looking like it won't be much fun to play with all the hacking.

I don't think i've come across any aimbotters yet, at least not obvious ones that you can see while in public games on random servers. Pretty sure i've seen a few wallhackers though.

I just wish i could control recoil better, sometimes i do great then sometimes my aim is so seriously epic fail and i miss absolutely everything and empty clips at the air... course i could always go play Hardcore

Anyone else dislike the way there is so little time after the match to use the text chat. You type half a sentence and then the game overrides you and displays various scoreboards and challenge screens etc. and you are fighting with it to let you type again, in the remaining ten seconds :/

Surely if it can see you are typing, it should realise this is more important to you than seeing the scoreboards, and let you continue.

I think they designed it so nobody ever says anything more important than 'gg' or 'bg'. Mocking the final killcam because they embodied the very essence of noobtubing is just not cricket apparently

On the note of scoreboards, wtf is with the 'Nemesis' thing? Why is it even there, it doesn't even work properly.
