COD Black Ops looks pretty good on PC

Anyone else dislike the way there is so little time after the match to use the text chat. You type half a sentence and then the game overrides you and displays various scoreboards and challenge screens etc. and you are fighting with it to let you type again, in the remaining ten seconds :/

Surely if it can see you are typing, it should realise this is more important to you than seeing the scoreboards, and let you continue.

I think they designed it so nobody ever says anything more important than 'gg' or 'bg'. Mocking the final killcam because they embodied the very essence of noobtubing is just not cricket apparently

On the note of scoreboards, wtf is with the 'Nemesis' thing? Why is it even there, it doesn't even work properly.

Yea my nemesis thing yesterday, I killed this guy 7 times he killed me once, on his thing I killed him 2 times and he killed me 3 times! Epic!

Same. It was short n sweet in MW2 too. I also really hate not being able to change my class load outs mid-map AND not being told which map is coming up is a tad annoying too.

The implementation of interval chat has been really poor in the last few years. Some old games you could chat while the maps were loading. Another fine example of gaming going backwards or devs not giving a toss, I can't believe the technology isn't there to this.

Another thing I really miss is the use of voiced taunts it brought some humour into the game, mohaa taunts were classic.

Just gonna vent my rage at this buggy POS. It's been fine since release, but the last update causes the MP to randomly crash with no warning. SP is fine.

Another thing I really miss is the use of voiced taunts it brought some humour into the game, mohaa taunts were classic.

That is one of the things I love about UT2004, the voice taunts are epic. (Now there's a game developed purely with the PC in mind and it shows!)

The [HaX] clanserver is constantly full on 24/7 nuketown.

i like nuketown, but after a while it gets a bit crowded.. need bigger maps

im nowhere good enough to play nuketown so try to aviod it now, especially since ive prestiged i cant hit anything, my K/D was about 1.1 before prestige now im at lvl 12 i bet its about 0.5 at best now

Id like a 24\7 Firing range server, thats my favourite map. Sadly the only permenant map servers are all for Nuketown.

I was just playing a few matches in COD4 and it is just a league above Black Ops in every department really. Graphics, sound, smoothness, gameplay, map design, server browser, everything. What a missed opportunity.
