Wil that sort out the spawn system though? I think that alone is a gamebreaker. Especially on servers with respawn timers.
 
Anyone seen this before? The player 'Zombi' has a symbol of an Xbox 360 stick symbol in his name somehow, how/why has he done that?

So chaps, as a player who has come from BF2 > BC2 >MoH, should I get this game, or just wait for BC2 Vietnam for my kicks?

I see a lot of moaning going on but whats the percentage chance of me experiencing problems? My rig will, or should, run it no problems.

To be completely honest, I would buy CoD4 for a tenner from steam and play that while you're waiting for Vietnam, it's essentially the same game, without the daftness or problems and with a very good community. If you can find MW2 cheap, you can use alteriwnet and get dedicated servers which make MW2 a completely different game, and playable online.

if you havent play cod play cod 4 for a tenner like just said best fps (better than bfbc2 :) dont start :p) vietnam is bfbc2 just few maps but it should pass the time.

black ops is enjoyable but wouldnt play on anything less than a quad this is 90 percent the problem with people just guessing they can play on lower end dualcore rigs when it blatently said they couldnt on the box months before release!

its not the best its not the worst. i would say its like cod waw . you either like it or dont.

has there been any reports of mouse input lag on this game ? several times i'll come 1v1 with some guy and hit the mouse button to fire and bugga all happens ? yes he pwns me and im left wondering is my mouse broke ?

dunno if its my pc or the game tbh
 
Got the hang of this game now, hitting near the top of the leaderboard on various servers, i was on it all of Saturday and never got bored.

Not true, Valve games don't have these problems because they take their (sweet!) time making them properly, bug testing etc. Done when it's done, as opposed to done when we can sell at for the Christmas sales period (even if it doesn't work properly).

I've played a lot of games in my time, I actually quite like Black Ops, but for high-price games we should not have to accept poor quality (basic performance, not just the hilarious spawn points, knife attacks, etc.). Compared to the competition, this game, at times, feels like it just doesn't perform properly. Credit where credit is due, and criticism likewise.

There is no "high horse" involved :rolleyes: It is simply not acceptable to release a game in such a poor state as this one, i think it is you who needs to step down from your high horse mr "my game works for me and my mates so you can all stop moaning" as we have every right to complain.
 
there is mouse imput lag yes, just like mw2, many many times had shooting where shot a whole mag into somone close range then they turn around and 1 shot me.

kilcam then shows me sitting still doing nothin like a noob lol. so yes there is.

atm game feels very heavy and laggy feel but sinse i did the suggestion about shader model it has helped a lot.

still the game needs optimise work to get it mw2 smooth. once it mw2 smooth it be great, bar the gameplay issues but that personal views
