So, have they now allowed quick scoping in black ops?

Just had a quick game to test the new patch.
Stuttering has gone at the start of the map when pre cache of shaders is enabled.
Stuttering for the first 2 maps or so is quite reduced, but I find after 2-3 maps I get progressively worse stuttering,

I'm lucky if I can play another map after that before the game locks up either forcing me to alt+ctrl+del or hard reset PC![]()
Just went back and played a few rounds on MW2... after the initial few minutes of attempting to hack claymores... lol... I got back in the swing of it and I have to say... I didn't realise how utterly crap Black Ops really is until I went back to MW2... so smooth and fluid to play and generally so polished... they really really need to take MW2 put some of the good stuff from Black Ops in there like hacking claymores, sam sites, etc. tweak some of the lamer perks and put Left 4 Dead style dedicated server lobbies in.

Are you joking? Black ops is way better than MW2... MW2 was a great designed game but massively let down by IWNet which introduces massive lag ruins the game.
In black ops, you shoot someone it hits them. In MW2 you shoot someone dead in your cursor but get killed - you can watch the replay and its like you missed them - all lag.
I went back to MW2 last week and after about 5 games I had to go stand outside and de-stress. Such a lovely game ruined by its implementation.

Played a few hundred hours on MW2 and lag isn't a problem usually, maybe the problem is your end.

I'd agree that on a good host, without too many other laggy players the netcode is amongst the best for hit registry, etc. its when you get a sub-par host and/or several players who are mad lagging that it all goes to hell.

And being that there are no admins and you cant set rules, like KICK if PING = 100+ then you just have to put up with rubbish game after rubbish game.
I have undreds of hours in MW2 and I used to put up with IWnet, but i just can't go back to it - which is a shame because as I have said, MW2 is a well designed game.
