COD Black Ops looks pretty good on PC

Every time i get in a huey or hind there is a bajillion SAM turrets that shoot me down before i even spin up the gun :P

90% of people that play this are complete retards as well, they wont even attempt at shooting down an aircraft, but instead be farmed by it.

I bet you didn't pay that on release though.

No I didn't, but you know what you are getting with a COD game so pre ordering isn't a massive gamble and even though BLOP's is not great I've had 60 hours out of it and no doubt will play it for a few more hours more. So at £23 it was decent value for money, I certainly wouldn't pay £40 for it nor any other game for that matter.

I know, I played the other night and shot down 2 chopper gunners and a chopper in one round. Non of the other player even attempted to shoot any of them down.

I can't help but feel that BLOPS was a waste of cash. Don't get me wrong, I like the game but the lack of team work deters me.

Bought BF:BC2 for a tenner the week after BLOPS release and played it about 20 times more.

You can't beat it...
Apaches
Quad Bikes
Tanks
Team Work
Spot Assists
and on...
and on...
and Aniston

they are 2 completely different game i dunno why people compare them to each other....

Whats wrong with playing both ??? Some of you are odd :O

Personally I find it hard to be good at more than one fps game at a time, each are slightly different in flow, key layout, gameplay mechanisms, etc. once I've got comfortable with one I have everything down by instinct and a I do really well... swap back to another game and it takes a few games before I get my "eye in" again.

Very hard to compare BLOPS to BC2, two rather different games. BC2 depends an awful lot on the squad your in, very much a team play focused game. Im finding the vietnam expansion to be pretty good, no fancy scopes on assault rifles makes it a lot more challenging than vanilla BC2.

Same here.

One of the reasons I skipped Black ops and got my 1970's fix through BC2 Vietnam.

Im sure it is good. Never played it so I cant comment.

However another reason why I skipped it is becuase as ou said, its juts MW2 with new maps and guns etc.... I disliked MW2, small team sizes.

Why couldnt thet have just made MW2 just COD4 with new guns and new maps?

They would have made another golden game without changing a thing!

The new team sizes are better, the large games were just a total farce on CoD 4 because the maps are not made for it. I got a 20+ killstreak on a 64 player match by lying prone and firing a single LMG clip into a spawnpoint.

I think I've finally had enough of cod, I'm bored of it and have come to the realisation that it isn't what it used to be either in the gameplay or the people that play it. Since that first day in November 2003 I think its time to hang up the mouse and keyboard.

hmmmm You could just play another game?

64 player matches are funny... you could just keep chaining air strikes until you hit 200+ to 0 or were kicked by the admin.

I'm very much the same, just getting bored of it. I think it is the people that play it. I generally play CTF and usually there is no team work or anything, so I go off on solo killing spree's and just dominate, people I play just seem to have no idea :( I try so many servers (mostly 'clans') but not one has captured my interest yet.
Sorry for a 'hey I'm awseome' scoreboard pic, but look at everyone else :o
