When you post just use the pic icon - on the advanced screen it is just below the smiley face and looks like 2 mountains and a sun on a light yellow background...

Actually links may be better if the images are massive!

Thanks mate :D - cant beieve its taken a week to get some pics out of the damn things :p

EDIT: Damnit - I want one now :(. Love the brushed look and colour.

Whats the weight like and actual feel?
Does that fingerprint reader not register every time you are near it when using the touchpad?
Noise/Heat on lap?

The Finger Print reader, have not set this up so no.

Brushed effect is cool

Temps I have used it on my Lap and to be honest if just surfing or Office apps then I think its cooler on the lap than my wifes Toshiba P100 probably quieter too.

Gaming on the lap would be a no no though.

Weight! suspect just over 3Kgs but again seems way lighter than the 17 Toshiba.

Can someone point me in the direction of where I'll find driver updates, etc for the Ultima Mobile 15.4"?

Graphics, sound-card, etc.

As much as I love computers and having a shiny new one, I'm not the technophile I once was :D. My tech-guru friend is away at the moment.

What's the warranty like with these? It states 2 years, but who exactly does it go back to etc? I really want the one with the 9800gts.

It's just still tempted to wait until the xps studio's dells announcing i November, but i hate waiting.

@REDNINEAPB - has the zalman made much of a difference to temps, specifically HD temps?

@ Chapple - There are drivers on clevo's website www.clevo.com model is M860TU. You can also get the latest chipset and matrix drviers from intel and latest nvidia drivers from laptopvideo2go but you will also needa modded inf. I was using 177.92 with great success

@ninja. Temps at the moment with zalman on half speed according to Hardware Mon

ACPI 51C Max this morning 54C

Core 2 37C Max this morning 41C

9800 GTS 53C Max this morning 54C

WD 320GB 7,200 RPM 49C Max this morning 49C

Played DVD earlier so that I guess was the heaviest load I have put on it as the rest of the morning uploaded photo's and on the web. As also working at the moment, nice being a home worker

Wow I envy you, not that I have it bad myself, working in IT with my own office :)

Good HD temps! I have been looking at the coolermaster infinity but might get a zalman instead. But tbh its only the HD temps that bother me, I havent got my GPU over 61 yet!

Still testing vista 32bit at the moment. I used the drivers off the disk first now I am installing 177.92

I also used stock and 177.92 in XP and 177.92 gave much better results.
I will post back my 3dmark scores in vista with 177.92 in about 10mins

Final test will be vista 64 before I decide which OS I am gonna stick with

hmmm.... 177.92 gave me 8700, thats lower than stock. Strange as I got higher results with XP.
I also cant believe how much hotter the HD is in vista, it idles at 53 and peaks at 61 where as XP idled at 48 and peaked at 57. I guess its because there is so much more disk activity in vista.
Boot up tims is 41secs for XP and 74secs for vista, both moderately optimised.

Boot to Desktop Vista 64Bit with $gb Ram and WD 320GB 7,200 57 seconds.

have you installed the latest Intel Matrix storage driver 8.5 as you recommended i do....seemed to reduce drive access i think.....

Yes I did, brought the temps down a bit but not as low as XP.

57 secs is not bad, I guess that 7200 HD helps, I decided to save cost and chose a cheap 250 as it is only to tide me over until the intel ssds are reasonably priced.

Intel SSD's seem to be the way to go for reasonably affordable SSD and as intel should hopefully not suffer the same problems as OCZ Corev1 regarding AHCI, waiting for some reviews and might go for one after xmas....;)

yeah ditto, and apparantly they dont suffer from the stutter of multiple small writes like the first wave of MLC do. There is a few reviews out already to give you an idea ( although they may be slightly biased)
