Just found these laptops, after a few weeks of looking.

You mention that you're busy building them just now - Do you have stock available for build just now, or are they all pre-ordered already?

I'm looking to buy one, but if would prefer the P9500 CPU, so if there aren't any available just now, then I'll wait to see if you get this CPU as an option before more stock arrives.

The 15.4" Ultima Mobile's are still out but only for a couple of days as our order is due along with the 12.1" and 13.3". I will add the other CPUs tomorrow/Friday.

@ chapple - You lucky g1t :) I am still waiting for city link to turn up...

Your tracking number for the re-ship is CMJ66513 :)

My ultima mobile's just arrived, just installing vista now but everything seems excellant so far and the build quality is superb. Also its even smaller than I thought it would be which is an added bonus.

Will update with pics and more info when I've got an os on there

This may sound a be retarded, but how do you pm people? Trying to find out about my order and I clicked on RTBs profile, yet I can't see an option to send him a message.

Also, I ordered the Primo 15.4" and it originally had a 2GHz Intel processor but now the minimum option is 2.1GHz, does that affect my order?

Another quick question - Does the Ultima have Intel turbo memory fitted, or can be added later? (The flash for boosting startup and app loading times)

I'm getting really tired of all this. Guys knew I needed the laptop before Friday. Guy on phone calls warehouse and says it'll be with me in two days. This was on Monday. Call again on Tuesday because the status hasnt changed from "In our warehouse In our warehouse queue". Appologies, calls warehouse and says it will be with me within the next two days, saying it will arrive Thursday. I called again on Wednesday, woman tells me they dont have any 15" Ultima Mobiles in stock. I explain how I've been told that it was going to be delivered to me the next day. She makes another call and then says yes that's right and it'll be with me within the next two days... It's 2:57am on Thursday, status is still "In our warehouse queue" and I'm pi**ed off that OcUK has lied to me.
Whats with this?
I've spent about £5000 with you guys late 2006 and this is how you treat a returning customer?
Is there anyone that can cheer me up? I am going on a business trip on Saturday morning and showing clients the trailer for my companies new tv show on my Nokia N95 really isnt too impressive.
I handed my old laptop back to techsupport at my office on Tuesday morning as my new laptop was meant to be delivered on Wednesday.
... cheers guys

(I'm probably being an arse because its 3:04am and I'm having to convert videos to run on my N95)

Well unless I find the video-out cable for the N95, my 'audience' are gunna be standing only a few inches away from me... not sure I want to imagine them naked at that point.
:p

Just encountered a strange problem!

My 9800gts is running at PCI-E 1x instead of 16x. I have used GPU-z and CPU-z to confirm.

Can anyone else check to see what PCI-e speed they are running at?
And does anybody know of a fix?? I have checked in BIOS and there is no gfx options at all.
cheers

Downloaded 176.02s from the Clevo website, they say they are for the 9800GT however installed fine and work fine. Try the 175.97 from the Clevo website for XP. :)

What drivers are you using where did you get them

I was using 177.92 from laptopvideo2go. I have just installed the drivers off clevo's driver disk and I am still at PCI-E 1x. The strange thing is I get a 3dmark of over 9000!

I might try an installation of vista

I am also on 0.2.7 and the latest cpu-z.
I have also tried the latest Intel chipset drivers.

At the moment I am stumped and the only thing I can think of is a reinstall (which probably wont solve knowing my luck!) I was going to anyway at some point to compare XP & Vista on the laptop

Quick thought you are getting 9000+ in 3dmark 2006 when you look at the report somewhere in there it tells you the PCI-e lanes in use. worth a look just wondering if something is causing GPU/CPU-z to mis report!!!!
