Is thias game frames /sec capped at 30 like generals? I ran it with fraps and its stuck at 30fps. Saying that, it doesn't change at all, constant 30fps.
I wasn't aware the engine capped you at 30fps until i started to dig around for info on this game and its predecessor, was as smooth as a sharp knife through warm butter for me.
Seems ok to me after playing it more, nothing special and I defiantely would agree on longetivity - would wear off quickly. Only thing going for it is the cheesy FMV's & campaign.

I was about to post this also. It does seem capped. I wasn't aware that general's had the same cap. I thought it was due to it coming to the consoles, I guess that they didn't change the Generals engine that much then.
Again ill say it again in reply to those saying its unbalanced.
It is if you play them on easy/medium... Try next level up and as soon as they see your tanks they will stealth bomber them - one of those bombs does a lot of damage.
OMG what a bad bad game! Sorry to all those that liked it (the graphics were nice) but the AI and gameplay are so basic! Your units dont return fire when theyre being fired upon, they all just sit there in groups firing at each other until one group dies, when stuff explodes they simply disappear with no trace!!
Surely after company of heroes showed what can be done with the RTS genre people would have sat up and taken notice. Suppose I'll just have to wait for the expansion pack
Did notice one bug - the Titan (?) walkers sometimes loose their 'walk' animation after firing and just float along quite happily.......then revert back to being fine.
