Did it not install the file properly? Ergo, came up as not applicable?
No, the install seemed to work fine, I get the preview appear in the store but then when I hit Download it tells me that its not available.. :/

Navigate over to:
Control Panel\Clock, Language and Region\Language
(Can just search for "language" in settings / Win+w)
and add new language which is English (United States). Go into the options of this new language and download and install language pack. A system restart is prompted, BUT WAIT. Not just yet.
Go into the registry editor (run regedit, exe) and navigate to HKey_Local_Machine\System\CurrentControlSet\Control\Nls\Language and change the "InstallLanguage" string at the very bottom of the right pane to the value 0409 which is EN-US.
(You can remember what it was originally if you want to change it back after installation)
Now reboot.
After reboot, just run the update file from preview.windows.com and voila....
The set up does seem to take a bloody long time.
yup, now "applying pc settings" is stuck at 3%
I thought my PC froze before and I was just about to reboot it, luckily I didn't.
I have an SSD and it's taking over 20 mins so far, windows 8 was done in about 8-10 mins.

RT, Pro?
Preview releases are always slower
You do realise that when you perform an install it uses a pre configured wim via the recovery partition. This will be installing windows from scratch
I cannot find media centre though.
Help guys,
I followed the instructions above but still get the error about 'try again later'
at least it's not weird text now
