'Contact lost' with Malaysia Airlines plane

Why haven't our local OC detectives found the plane yet?

I still think theres a good possibility, though theres many other possibilities, that it ended up in Iran for whatever reason.

Latest information released on the fuel quantity onboard (49.1mt) and the supposed cruise speed it was maintaining when it last showed up on US systems make it a possibility - coupled with reports of out of ordinary plane activity near Kudahuvadhoo that match a similiar aircraft heading south but bearing off towards the east. (assuming it then continued to turn into a final heading up the arabian sea).

95% of the underwater search area has been completed and still nothing. If nothing is found then Bluefin-21 will continue to examine the areas adjacent to the 10km radius being searched. Looks like this search could take years.

Meh Its landed on a remote airstrip so flotsam wont turn up until they've stripped it down and dumped it in the ocean somewhere.

Just my 2p worth

"i personally feel bearing of the missing plane went out of the flying route, that means the plane has been hijack flying on unregistered flight route.this plane should be captured as a pirate plane and should be brought down as we do not know the motive of this plane,it could be for sabotaging purpose, flying around its dangerous and the if spotted sould be brought down before it fly around causing burden in controling air traffic"

Why is father Christmas m oking for planes??

The thing that really annoys me, is, all the sightings, or pings, or objects under water that weren't there before but are now, no one can ever tell us what they are or were....

That boat, so close to the suspected tail debris....actual WTF

I find the one in the south china seas somehat unlikely - unless the Chinese shot it down by accident and don't want to admit it (which they wouldn't).

Bay of Bengal is a bit more likely.
