Do the all 9900k come with the game? From usa?
No don't think so. It does not have Intel Starter Pack anywhere on page.

Exactly, the 2700x whilst nice, doesn't excite me enough to warrant an upgrade of my OC'd 2600k (it might do though, as I do have the itch to upgrade), but the 9900k whilst it being what I'd want performance wise (most likely, as we've not seen reviews yet), is just too high a price.
Which is exactly why I have gone from a 2500k at 4.5ghz to a 2700x.
The 9900k would need to blow my socks off to justify the price
Was the 2700x a noticeable upgrade from your 2500k?
My 2600k is running at 4.5GHz.
Not sure why anyone still believes this chip will exist. The very best they could do is take some dies that were previously reserved for Threadripper and use them for a supped-up version of the 2700X that can clock 50-100 MHz faster. Seems like a waste of resources would do nothing to sway anyone on the fence between Ryzen 2 and Coffee Lake Refresh.Gibbo can we expect any response from AMD anytime soon ?2800X maybe

Indeed. In terms of performance per pound, Ryzen 1 is actually the best choice these days for the 8 core chips. The 6 core chips are very close in price though so you may as well go R5 2600 over an R5 1600X for example. If my PC died tomorrow I'd probably get an R5 2600 and plop in a Ryzen 3 chip next year.Don't forget the 1800X at £229.99, when we did those at £199.99 was really an insane deal for an 8/16 CPU.

I personally would say go for it. The other features of the board, along with the performance of the 2700X give a significant boost to the performance of the system in all aspects. DDR4, NVME SSD, RGB (LOL)

RGB adds 60% more fps 90% of the timeOf course, the missing reason for me to spend hundreds for an upgrade - RGB!! I'm sold![]()

Indeed. If we look at the facts, the very best of the Zen dies get used in Threadripper, Zen is on a design that is setup for lower power and clocks, the absolute best of this Silicon goes into the Threadripper chips, there is pretty much nothing left to wring out of the tank on this process...
There is and will be no 2800X, Zen does not scale well past 4.35ghz or so, after that its extremely diminishing returns for massive voltage..
Any rumors of a 10c /20t chip are just that, rumors, they taped out Zen+ ages ago and have been selling them for ages, its not like they secretly held back the top chips to form some magical mythical 10c beast that clocks to 4.5ghz to pull out on the 9900k, its just not feasible on the design of Zen.
Hope you guys kept your deliding kits lol.
