Core 9000 series

In Singapore Dollar:
$539 8700K
$364 8600K
$666 9900K
$518 9700K
$370 9600K

They also used to sell 8086K @ $627. The prices you see are actually for the whole bundle (including motherboard, ram, psu, graphics card and SSD), if you buy separately they add $20 on top. 7% tax included. I bought 2 8086Ks from them few months ago.

Yeah its certainly looking like the i9 9900k will be around that £500 mark in the UK after tax. If it is a paper launch then we need to get hands on a pre order else I'd expect half as much on top again until nearer new year

@Jamie Archer $450 MSRP ends up being around ~£415 with VAT included.
666 Singapore Dollars is roughly $479.99 usd according to the other guy who posted just below you.

I know its almost dollar for pound the same at the moment when taking tax etc into consideration. I just pre ordered the evolv x case and that's $199.99 absolutely everywhere but here in uk they just couldnt help but add that extra £9.99 to make it £209.99 plus postage to be paid on top.

The guru3d article is using the same source, but the reddit thread took out the 7% Singaporean sales tax.
Still, not official pricing so just speculation, but we're getting close to the official announcement.

O.k I'm having a mini rant about this. Sorry but there's no way that cpu should be beating a 2950x or even 7920x in multi core. What's up with the benchmark anyway. The top score for a 2990x is only 34000 yet the 1950x got 39000. And why is Linux so much better since with this OS the 1950x's achieve 60000+. And why is the 2950x not as fast as the 1950x? Oh and it doesnt beat the 7920x either because they are getting 40000 windows and 54000 or something on Linux with only 3ghz. I'm going to guess windows is limiting the test to a certain number of cores and that raw clock speed is what is allowing the 9900k to win.
For the third time (i think), Geekbench is a terrible multithreaded benchmark. Only the single core scores are even worth looking at.

Another price leak

https://www.guru3d.com/news-story/i...r-prices-listed-at-singapore-distributor.html

  • Core i3-9350K is listed at 252 SGD = $189.99
  • Core i5-9600K is listed at 370 SGD = $269.99
  • Core i7-9700K listed at 518 SGD= $379.99
  • Core i9-9900K listed at 666 SGD = $479.99.
Hmm, a $22 bump for the i3 and a $13 bump for the i5 then, if accurate.

With the latest Intel price hikes on their current stuff, these chips are not going to be linear translations, you all know as well as i do what is priced at roughly £370 in Singaporean money, is going to equate to £500+ in UK money once you factor in taxes, import costs etc.. expect these even higher once the "limited stock / availability" tax kicks in as well, and then even further higher once they start getting sampled for OC'ing... wouldnt be suprised to see the absolute best silicon of these pre binned to sell for around £900+

Good job we're not in an age of austerity, wages are rising at a record rate and the pound is very strong. Oh wait...lol

For those it helps hexus converted the SGD rates
  • Intel Core i9-9900K (8 Core / 16 Thread): SGD666 = £370/US$480
  • Intel Core i7-9700K (8 Core / 8 Thread): SGD518 = £290/US$375
  • Intel Core i5-9600K (6 Core / 6 Thread): SGD370 = £205/US$270
  • Intel Core i3-9350K (4 Core / 4 Thread): SGD252 = £140/US$185
But bet uk prices end up more like the $ rate just changed to £

Because you forget VAT, transport fees, and most important. If the parts are made in the Malaysian fab. The latter will need a 20% tariff if the goods are sold legally by Intel USA. If they are sold in Europe by a intel subsidiary in Europe, then they won't.

Welcome to Trump's world...

Of course, and then allow some extra ontop, like i said £500-600 for the 9900k.

I recall the EU practices 0% import fees for electronics, so pricing should only be MSRP + VAT.

@SiDeards73 500 pound is about 650 dollars. It's most likely going to end up being a maximum of 450 pound in the UK, but I'm talking MSRP wise, retailers will most likely inflate pricing since demand will be high.

I'd be okay with £500 I think for the 9900k. With a mobo and RAM it's going to be a £1000 upgrade though realistically if coming from an old platform like I am. But I think if I can get the life out of the 9900k like I have the 2600k it's money well spent.
