I wouldnt be too upset, I think you'll find that the HAF still had far superior airflow. I would like to see his load temps on a 4ghz OC with the case as standard and the corsair exhausting. He has it pulling air into the case.

:D does look nice tho :D

It's absolutely gorgeous.

I had a friend round yesterday who isn't much into computers, my Antec 1200 - he never batted an eyelid.

Saw this and could not stop speaking about it and was generally impressed by how good it looks!

The HAF may have better airflow, and is no doubt an excellent choice of case, but you should remember this is designed with WC in mind. And sure enough in a few weeks I will follow suit!

BTW Corsair recommends using the Fans as an Intake.

gaiden already ran test on inwards and outwards fan directions .. and conclusion was outwards was just as good in cases with higher airflow.

and people like myself and gaiden who have rear gpu vent/blowers dont want hot air being sucked back into case:D so outwards suits us better..

bear in mnd every case is different due to fan layouts and airflow so experiment and you may get better temps in the process.;)

LOL, I know, but with push pull and good case airflow its actually better the other way around. With it intaking air from the rear, it is scooping up hot air from the GPU's.

Trust me I've been fiddling about with my H50 for over a month and tried every configuration there is.

hey sorry about my previous thread, image got blocked. Here it is again for those interested.

Hi there
Can I ask where you got all the white cabling going to MB and GPU etc?
Also what brand is it?

Very jeolous of the case ;)

For people who have applied their own thermal paste, did you add it to the cpu of the h50 itself?? Just that to fit the H50 to the mounting bracket dont you have to twist it??, wanted to know how this would effect the thermal paste

I added it thinly to the cooler coldplate with a credit card, then added a small spot to the centre of the heatshield of the CPU then fitted the the H50, as you twist it the two mould together.

Hey, its just white cable braid that I got from a competitor (only because OcUK don't stock it! )

And instead of braiding each cable on my PSU I used an Akasa cable extension for both 8pin and 24pin.

I do find it odd that OcUK don't stock such things when it's clear a lot of people are into case modding these days...I myself may one day do cable braiding but if it means going to a competitor to get my stuff, it kinda makes one lose a little faith in OcUK. Don't get me wrong they get some excellent quality kit, but stuff for water cooling and case modding are a little hard to come by these days. Such is life.

Anyway excuse the off topic-ness ;)
