Corsair H50 Water Cooling Kit

No room? I've got a huge noctua in a push / pull config plus the case fan..

Any pics? :)

Time to order one..., but unfortunately only for a Q6600 B3 :(

Quite right. I was thinking of my old smaller case which had a serious space problem.

I'll have to find another fan and try push/pull again in the 300.

This one?

Specs:

Intel Q6600 GO (running at stock at the moment)

Abit IX38 Quad GT

BFG GTX 260 OCX

6GB Corsair Dominator DDR2 8500 / 1066

Corsair H50-1 (two Apache Blacks in push/pull exhaust)

Corsair TX750W PSU (will be listed in the MM soon)

Asus Xonar DX 7.1 Soundcard

1 x 120mm Apache Black front intake / 1 x Noiseblocker BlackSilent Pro 140mm top exhaust

Windows 7 64 bit OS

Samsung F1 1TB HDD

Antec 300 Case (modded with raised feet, filtered floor vent for PSU intake, and hole in mobo panel for the 8 pin cable).

Cool, similar to what I'm running at the mo

Would people get one of these over a push + pull Noctua HSF setup?

I'm on mid 30's on a Q6600 B3 running at 3GHz

Slightly out of date as I have another noctua fan on there, 5870 gfx card and a few more drives. Oh and a newer Corsair PSU I think - nned to check

Question is how much better will the H50 be...

I have had my ocuk bundle up and running now for about a week :cool:. Using the H50 and I have noticed the following readings ;

Cores 1 : 3 - 39 -.40 C
Cores 2 : 4 - 32 - 34 C

I moved from single to quad so never had a quad core before :o I take it the cores running like this is normal? because cores 1 : 3 are the ones with load (however minute) and cores 2 & 3 is basically off (well on but doing nothing until required)?

Room temperature is around 30C (which is not ideal due to hot weather) I have a push/pull system with the radiator. Are these ok temps or is there room for improvement, ie with better fans, air circulation??

Think i read somewhere in another thread of a program i can install to give me fan readings to ensure the pump fan is running full power?

Cheers

As far as I can see the loads and temps are fine. Pretty much the same as my Q6600 in the hot weather.

Was thinking of grabbing myself one of these aswell as a Fractal Design R2 anyone here using one?

Just wanting to be nosey about the temps :D

im running f@h and hitting 85 degrees with my i7 930 set as 160x21=3.37ghz in the bios, but Coretemp is reporting it as 160x22=3.5ghz ... this is with 1.34 vcore

the hottest corner of the radiator is 40 degrees celcius as read by my infrared thermometer... the air coming off the puller fan feels quite cool , i was expecting it to feel abit warmer than that, the radiator is clean as far as i could see... my 5870 is going around 86 degrees on the core and its exhaust air actually feels that hot
