I ran mine up for about an hour, I figured once it's up to pressure it's unlikely to start leaking. Plus i couldn't wait any longer to play with it lol.

mines been installed for about 3 weeks roughly now, i just stuck it straight in without testing

Working great, although i should maybe overclock my cpu otherwise it's a bit of a waste

Why would the pressure increase, it's a pre-sealed unit?

Well I'm no expert but i assume when the pump is turned on and the liquid is moving inside, there will be added pressure on the joints.
