** CORSAIR LIQUID COOLING SOLUTIONS - CRAZIEST DEAL OF 2013 **

With the H100 installed running my i5 2500k @ 4.2ghz running idle at 24 degrees. After an hr of Skyrim my max temp hit 45 degrees. So far so good I might push my clock up a bit more now.
 
I pre-ordered a H80 yesterday but could I cancel and get a H100? I have a Corsair 300R case. Officially it doesn't fit but I've seen people getting it to fit snug :).
 
Okay I will do if I can be absolutely sure a H100 will fit my 300R case. Does anyone know for sure if it will? I've a Gigabyte Z77 D3H mobo.

By refurbished, they have had parts removed that were once faulty and swapped correctly, therefore the Manufacturer's warranty begins from the date of first sale and continues throughout even if it is returned to manufacturer, therefore it wouldn't be a 6 year warranty either way, unless it was brand new.
 
Just installed, everything looks fine, only issue was the bios moaning about not detecting a cpu fan even though there all working and connections are in place.

I Just turned the cpu fan to ignore and it seems ok, just a slight burning smell but I can live with that.


What speed setting on the pump do you guys have it set on?? got mine on 3 at the moment

Quick test I did. 3 was a bit noisey for me but 2 is quiet and not far off temp wise.

AMD FX 8350 @ 4.0ghz

H100 Quiet 1 light
stock fans
Idle - 12c
Prime 95 20min - 31c Much louder.

Performance 3 lights

stock fans
Idle -12c
Prime 95 20min - 39c

Balanced 2 lights
stock fans
balanced 2 light
Idle - 12c
Prime 95 20min - 34c


3c wasn't worth the noise to me.

I've had a little measure up and depth wise it looks okay for a H100. I have low profile RAM so that should be okay. Seems it's about 52mm in depth. It's the 240mm length that concerns me. It's going to be tight.

EDIT: Not going to risk it. Are the H80s in stock?

Right might try it on 2 then

Running an i7 950 and its idling at 37C on one core and a low of 32C on another.
Maxing it out on Prime climes to around 60C

Yeah as you surely saw in my post I got the Quiet and performance modes mixed up.

Is definitely worth a shot on the balanced mode, so much quieter if nothing else.

switched it to 1 now and the temps havn't really changed much in fact the idle temp is 1C lower than on 3 :rolleyes: so not sure whats going in there. sounds much better now.
