This is a great deal but the £10 delivery charge kind of kills it for me.
Im in the same boat. I wish they did a free delivery, like a saver.
hi all got mine today ready for a new build so I plugged it in to my age old rig just to check for leaks fine there but one concern I had was the fan control button didnt seem to work no matter what setting I had the fan speed never changed. it went full speed as soon as I powered up then down.
what im thinking is should it be connected to the cpu to for the fans to kick in right once heat is passing through ? and plugged in to the cpu fan slot.
sorry for the noob questio just peace of mind
I found that with the one I fitted tonight it took it about 5 seconds to register the change.
How loud is the pump supposed to be? I can here what sounds like a fan off balance type noise
Edit: Its one of the fans on the H100![]()
I think the pump has it's own controller. So the molex you plug in gives it the constant 12V. The two radiator fans go into the pump as well. Then the fan cable from the pump goes to CPU_FAN on your motherboard. This monitors the pump speed so you can see what it's doing in BIOS. The water block controls the speed of the rad fans. Not 100% sure though. Mine is coming tomorrow! Fingers crossed anyway.
