** CORSAIR LIQUID COOLING SOLUTIONS - CRAZIEST DEAL OF 2013 **

Just received my H100 after ordering yesterday. Great service, with haribo too ;)

Sticker on cellophane says 1 year warranty, this covers a sticker on the box inside that says 90 days.

Irrelevant as the thing has already leaked all over the box inside, soaking loads of the cardboard.

Do i RMA to Corsair?

I bet you're glad it didn't do that after it was fitted to your CPU.

I was going to get one for myself, but the thought of a leak made me decide that it's not worth the risk, no matter how cheap these refurbs are.

I had the same problem opened the box to find it had leaked.

You rma with overclockers the main site has rma request web form or you can post in the customers service section of these forums.

I bought the H100 more out of curiosity than anything else and thought I'd see how it performed against my trusty TR Silver Arrow.

Some temps -

So the temps aren't exactly a dramatic improvement over the Silver Arrow but to be fair the SA is one of the better air coolers out there.

My main concern is the noise. On medium or high fan speeds it's ridiculously loud. What fans have people switched to?

This doesn't really bother me much, if Corsair are happy to sell under their brand and provide a warranty then they can't be much different from a new unit.

I always recon if something is going to fail it will fail very early in its life, otherwise it'll last years.

I'm sure my replacement will be fine. :p

Hey guys. I've been directed to this thread by 5UB with a question I have. Do the h100 refurbs come with the preapplied thermal compound? Or will I be needing to buy some?

Thanks.

Yes.

Other than the refurb stickers it's indistinguishable from a new retail H100.

My H100 arrived today. Just fitted it to my 300R case. Tight squeeze but fits no problem. No modifications needed. Just need to order another Cosair AF120 to go as a side intake and I'm sorted. What dust filters do you guys recommend?

Just done a quick stress test and temps are virtually the same as before.

My old cooler was a Thermalright Macho and a good cooler at that! I'll keep it as a backup for sure.

I've got a 3570K 4.3GHZ overclock around 1.3V and I get 80-85 degrees max in OCCT. Changing the speed doesn't affect temps at all really so keeping her on quiet mode.

Really happy with the H100 though. Bargain even at £44.99. Thank you OCUK!

P.S. The pump made a bubbling/gurgling noise for the first 5 mins but has been silent since.

Good question regarding warranty. I have a 1 year warranty sticker on my H100. Hopefully Corsair would honour that if anything went wrong. I'm on balanced mode right now it can get a bit loud but you know I quite like it. Sounds hardcore if you know what I mean :)

Thanks guys.

One last question. If this were to leak 6 month down the line and take the rest of my new kit with it would Corsair be liable? Especially as it's a closed unit so therefore no 'user' error?

Anyone? Looking to order all my new kit if the 840 EVO drives are available tomorrow.
