** CORSAIR LIQUID COOLING SOLUTIONS - CRAZIEST DEAL OF 2013 **

Right might as well ask in here considering most if not all posters have one or the other, ive decided to install my h60 now I'm happy it's not leaking, ive come to install the bracket at the rear and even with the studs screwed down its not tight, almost like my z77x d3h is too thin for it or something and thus I can push pull it and it moves, so I'd imagine once the block is tightened down onto those studs it will never make contact fully- anyone else heard of this?

My H60 was like that. Once I screwed the block on it was secure though.

Good im glad I described it well enough, I must add I've got the backplate cutout section correct as it goes are under the 2 screws for the CPU retention bracket I believe, ill go ahead and install the rest of it and see how i get on.

My H100 survived overnight without any leaks but it's not going into my case just yet. Needs to keep going fine til my new CPU shows up which should be Monday or Tuesday.

It's a good job all these coolers didn't leak a few days after installing them. Corsair would probably have some compensation lawsuit on their hands lol.

Thanks to googaly i stopped worrying and installed, it did indeed tighten up once the block was on, quite an odd design and thats why it threw me a little, Happy to report push-pull with the stock corsair fan and a titan one from my aircooler, which are similar spec'd is performing well so far - down 6 degree on the idle (around 31-32) and roughly around 4-5 (about 58 ish) lower on the load, stock 3750k, happy aswell as there isnt much of an increase in noise, but way more space in the case now. Both fans hooked upto my fan controller running at half speed also.

Get same fans or you will still have noise.. its not rpm which dictates air movement. Its CFM airflow and if one has more and one has less you will make a horrible noise and possibly cause higher temps

I have noticed at high speed there is a horrible whine, ill grab a couple next week, but found a happy medium, the one pushing air through it is almost at full speed, where as the exhaust/pull is just a bit over half way.

Well it turns out when i installed my H60 i managed to get the pump bit stuck on one of the VRMS making it un-even! So only 1/4 of the copper plate was touching the actual CPU! EEEEK!

But after reseating it all it works so much better, 31-33c idle and 50-60c under load

But the sad news is the dark rock pro 2 mounting brackets wont fit because of the VRMS being in the way :'(

Any one want to buy a dark rock pro 2? Ha

By refurbished, they have had parts removed that were once faulty and swapped correctly, therefore the Manufacturer's warranty begins from the date of first sale and continues throughout even if it is returned to manufacturer, therefore it wouldn't be a 6 year warranty either way, unless it was brand new.

That's the manufacturer's warranty though. The sale of goods act isn't a warranty, but a law that says the retailer is liable for up to 6 years.

And that 'get-out clause' of 'inherent faults' (i.e. being there at the beginning) makes no difference, as all faults will come to light due to an inherent fault with the product (i.e. poor workmanship).

Therefore, I think the fact that the products are refurbished makes no difference. The date starts the day YOU receive the item, not the day it gets refurbished.

I actually forgot I ordered all of these lol, are we finally getting deliveries now? bought one of each when the deals first came up, they'll find a use cooling something no doubt.

Just fitted my H100 after running it yesterday out of system to leak test, all good so far, although as said above tight squeeze in a 300R, but way more roomy than my K2 :D

I was kind of hoping I'd receive a faulty h100; just for the chance that Corsair might RMA it for an h100i, but I guess it's just my bad luck to receive a unit that's in perfect working order. ;)

My pump is super quiet, but even on the lowest setting, my SP120's are super loud. Kind of regretting getting the HP version.

I'm still waiting for mine, am having it delivered by 1st class royal mail which says to me
1st class so next working day but apparently I was a little wrong as it can take upto 5
working day to get here. Wish I had of payed for DPD instead of my free delivery now.
