** CORSAIR LIQUID COOLING SOLUTIONS - CRAZIEST DEAL OF 2013 **

H80 arrived,no leaks, looks like brand new, didnt bother testing, justed threw it in and fired up , no problems.
Prime 95 test,30mins on an o/c of 4.3ghz 3570k,max temps in an antec 300 were 70*c
on the quietest fan setting compared with 4*c more on my Hyper 212 doing the same test, not much difference but its almost silent on low settings and it looks great.

Just unboxed my H80 (haribo gone already, natch). No cellophane wrapping on the box so no 90 day warranty sticker. As above, 5 year guarantee is printed on the box.

Wonder where we stand on that.

Anyway, no leaks, looks new (minus the cellophane on the packaging). Going to run it out of the case tomorrow to see how it gets on.

Got mine installed - I had a 90 day sticker on, but not bothered, all packaged as new. Swapped the fans for some Spectre PWM ones, can't hear them. Currently by Haswell i5 is at 4ghz (though it's idling as I'm just browsing) and according top coretemp, I'm barely breaking 30c. Will give the paste a couple of days to cure, then break out the proper oc guide.....

I'm not sure which one you got, when you says fans' I'm guessing either H80 or H100?
I will say that my i7 Haswell @ 4.2GHz is barely breaking 32ºC (while idling) on a H60 with stock fan running at about 60% speed (1100rpm out of 1900rpm), and it's pretty darn quiet too.

So I'm guessing this:
Impressive ! ;)
is sarcasm?

Sorry, couldn't resist.

Is a low idle temperature important ?

My i5 2500K idles at around 32C with a fairly cheap (Gelid Tranquilo) air cooler. The fan is almost silent.

Running Prime for 15 minutes @4.6Ghz, I get a max core temp of about 72C (in current weather conditions). At full load, the fan is audible, but not noisy. When playing games (apart from benchmarking, it's the hardest the CPU has to work), the fan is quiet - my graphics card makes more noise. I can tell that the fan is quiet, as it only speeds up a little for a majority of the time.

No, just was late in the day, and hadn't got round to properly oc-ing it, was just reporting what I saw at the time. Quite aware that there isn't a competition for "lowest idle temp" :p

Fair play.

It's the load temp and noise that counts, IMO. I toyed with the idea of a H80, but came to the conclusion that a few degrees off the load temp wasn't worth it for me. Leaks were a big concern too.

No Leaks to report of, been in the system for a few hours now.

Not using the supplied fans as already had some Apache's, under load temps down to 61 from 79 (H80 cooler)

Although they are quite a few bent fins on the radiator.

I received my replacement h100 and all setup no leaks so far but the fans are so loud even the different settings via pressing the button appears to do nothing.

Is there some sort of option I have over looked in the bios or something it's way too loud?

I have the two fans plugged in to the main pump unit then the molex and the other mboard cpu header plugged in.

It does takes a couple of minutes to throttle the fans back when started up in quiet and balanced modes.

They was staying on full the whole time but solved it now.

For some reason when I had other fans using the controller with the two supplied it wouldn't change speed always on full but now I pulled the other two fans it appears to work very strange.

The H100 has crept up a fiver. But even so its still a good buy

I might snag one payday for my 2nd Rig methinks to go with the H100i in my main machine

If anyone's still on the fence about this cooler, I highly recommend it. Although the stock fans it comes with are like hurricanes so I would recommend fans such as the Corsair SP's.

Great purchase and I've had no bother with it at all. :)

I'm tempted by this. However, the need to replace the stock fans means I'm looking at nearly £70. I'm looking to cool an OC 4770k so I won't be able to get away with quiet mode on the H100. Novelty aspect aside, this doesn't cool any better than a high end air cooler like a Silver Arrow SB-E does it?
