Will those who made the old cut get the boot then or is a new members thing? i don't use MM much but brows a fair bit, i think its a good idea, means that it will be a real members market.

When buying from the MM I only ever buy from someone with good trust. If they don't have trust I tend to ask for them to send the item and I pay half the money upfront. I have had nothing but good dealings in the MM. Most are people are trustworthy in there, its a shame the few moron scammers ruin it for the new people.

I guess I can understand the need for the change. I guess the added benefit for me is that by the time I get access my old kit will be classified as antique and I might get a better price :D

While i agree you should look into the person's account as a whole, trust length of time on the forum, are they active? I have a low but 100% trust why? becuase i dont spend all day buying selling or making profit, i use it for the way it was intended to get rid of some stuff i no longer need and buy something to save a few £££ :D Trust is a guildline not an absolute

I welcome the move and wouldn't mind if it was extended at all. It's easy me saying that from the inside though :o :D.

I've hardly used the MM but as others have said, I'd be checking the trust ratings regardless as we all want a fluid sale.

Great move at being more of a deterrent, but a shame it had to be made in the first place :(.

1000 posts.

Considering I have nothing actually worth posting on this forum (i dont know the latest tech, i aint built my own system for a long time etc etc), it looks like i'll basically never get access to the MM...

Considering I use a speech to text program to post in forums these days which takes forever cause speech to text in forum based software is still horrible. My hands are all but unusable for a keyboard these days, might have something to do with very little posts, struggling with Rheumatoid Arthritis is not fun. :)

I usually just read this forum for hints and tips, a forum post this short takes me about 15 to 20 minutes to prepare since speech to text royally screws up words due to my Scottish accent. :(

dry your eyes

If you had cared to actually READ the thread you'd have already seen Victor1st's reply...... but no, you read a post, skip the rest and come back with a comment like that!.

You're out of order neil3k .

Good idea, MM is supposed to be a benefit for regular forum members, not a place for traders or scammers to make money.

Although saying that I find the trust system works well, I wouldn't buy anything valuable off someone with low trust.

dirtydog, you do not have permission to access this page. This could be due to one of several reasons:

1. Your user account may not have sufficient privileges to access this page. Are you trying to edit someone else's post, access administrative features or some other privileged system?
2. If you are trying to post, the administrator may have disabled your account, or it may be awaiting activation.
