Looking to swap out my monitor currently playing on 1080p/TN/144Hz but have been toying with the IPS/21:9/60Hz idea.

Anyone playing on this setup?

My guess is, I will lost some competitive edge with the refresh rate but just wanted to see if anyone has any experience?

I have an X34 (100hz), with a PG278Q at the side. I wouldn't consider playing CS at less than 144hz if I had the option not to. Don't do it bro!

I'm really getting back into my CS at the mo. Up for some games if anyone fancies it. I generally play on the community servers that are mirrors of competitive rules, but where you can duck in and out as you please.

Baby is now a 7month old who is rolling around and trying to crawl. Just no time in evenings to sit down on PC and play CS - if I do play a game then it's something not too stressful on the couch. Days of being able to play in 3/4 hour bursts are gone until he grows up.

Got in for a couple of games with some OCUK guys last night, was good fun and we won them both!

It's a shame to say but it really does make a massive difference compared to the 3/4 games playing solo q and having a couple of people without mics/speaking another language/not giving calls etc.

you do need at least a premade 4 players in CS to have a good chance, problem with solo queue and small teams is that you are bound to get 1 - 2 morons join your team.

4 people is the key number I think.

3 you run the risk of a pair joining who can troll/not do anything and you cannot kick then due to the mate.

If you have a group of 4 it's easy to kick.

just want to know if you congregate somewhere where i can just hop in and maybe join. I just had game with 4 randoms none of them together vs 5 premade clan and we tied it from 14:9 to 15:15...very impressed by randoms lately...
