*** Cyberpunk 2077 ***

Weird, I’ve played it through a few times already and haven’t had any bugs beyond the usual stuff like the auto car summon occasionally routing weird.

only thing that irritates me is the inability to skip some scenes.

EDIT i went and bought it again and wish i never lol game breaking bugs from the off!! never had as many the last time i played it, i thought it was better now but so far,for me and what ive played, its worse than ever!
I am having no game breaking bugs at all, and had only one at launch when I played it (was fixed by reload). Something is fishy on your PC.

So, how is this game now without me having to go back and read through the thread ( to lazy lol) is it worth picking up again? i refunded it ages ago but think i might like to try it again if things have improved as i did enjoy the story etc

Also has performance improved at all? its in the sale at the moment for £25 so seriously considering buying it again :)

Thanks

Asked for refund and will never try it again lol
I get the odd bug with car summon , but that's about it , are you on the PC ?

Yep on pc, no other game is like this so its not my pc lol the 2 bugs i had were the get your gun quest wouldnt show up at all, i had to reload a checkpoint before for it to show, then my next mission wouldnt show which im sure is meet jackie outside or something.

Maybe a reinstall might help of the game, i dont know, i havent refunded it yet so may try that, might not be able to refund anyway as have now owned the game twice and its showing 3hrs of game time although its been under 2 hrs each time, im not sure i can get a refund?

dunno, can try the old verify game files, delete all setting files if there's any in my documents, delete any old saves etc

really shouldn't be having game bugs like that anymore

It's really odd how the same game can work in vastly different ways across so many varied people - Some lucky folks like myself get virtually no bugs at all and yet for others its unplayable - I was fine up until patch 1.6 as I'd only had 2 crashes in 300+hrs of play, but finally patch 1.6 "broke" my crafting casuing the game to hang/CTD dozens of times if I tried to upgrade an item, well until 1.61 was released which fixed that.

Something I'd forgot in recent posts - even on my first play through I could only play for approx. 2 hours after which the framerate suddenly took a dive and the game became stuttery until I restarted it - no sign of a memory leak but similar behaviour - seems past a certain point it would trip aggressive asset memory management swapping stuff in and out when it didn't need to. Some people got that for some reason right from the first moment starting the game up making it pretty unplayable.

Supposedly fixed but I've not tested it - the 2 new characters I tried I can't even play for 2 hours before encountering some kind of show stopping issue.

Had a look in again and the patches and DLC seem to have messed with how I recall it.

On one hand things seem to be more reliable but they messed with how things work for balance reasons which is swings and roundabouts.

Why were the posts above deleted? They were on topic and related to framerates in the game between diff CPUs? "Thread clean" is not a suitable reason.

Edit* Oh sorry I see what's going on now. That's the troll guy isn't it, and I fell for it :o

Mods should really post a list of all the accounts belonging to the same person, I'm sure some arguments are the same dude talking to himself

I'm currently running this on an overclocked i7 860 with a 2070S at 1440 and get around 35fps to 40fps around the city. I'm GPU limited with RT on (and get around 30fps with DLSS Quality) but CPU limited in basically every other scenario:p. Haven't played it in ages so it looks like I'm starting again as a corpo...

Look what I just found...

Gun and vehicle? Is that after a quest or just wondering around? Location?
It's Dex's gun, Plan B. You get it off Dex's body by going back to where you were you woke up in the junk yard after he is killed.
There's also another side quest you can pickup in that same location later on, depending on where you are in Silverhand's storyline.

Playing this on PS5. Haven’t played since release when I just rushed through the story, so going to do more side content this time. Sounds like they’ve removed the free mantis blade drop :(
