*** Cyberpunk 2077 ***

Yeah that is aligned with what we are seeing in reality, those DLSS 3 numbers are with frame gen enabled. The numbers are still equally massive from each other from DLSS 2 to DLSS 3 when frame gen is disabled, just the goal posts move down quite a bit of course :p

For the best balance of quality and performance without frame gen I am using DLSS Auto, which at 3440x1440 is DLSS Balanced I believe. Everything looks super crisp with this.

Nvidia put this out not long ago, I think I misread it initially thats on me. The big jump is from DLSS 2.0 to 3.0/3.5 and not from 3.0 to 3.5...It's like 10% boost which is kinda in line with what I'm seeing.

I did try Performance DLSS but it looked a little muddy even at 4k, it did give me a nice boost though. Settled on Balanced in the end.

Yeah in the initial release they said ray reconstruction didnt really affect fps generally, although there happened to be a slight boost for cyberpunk itself.

Ok can confirm that any form of input lag introduced from frame gen befroe in cyberpunk (noticeable with DLSS Quality) is now completely gone in update 2.0. I am now using DLSS Quality with frame gen and pulling well over 124fps, in fact it exceeds 144fps at times lmao.

So let's essentially, Frame Gen + Ray reconstruction + DLSS Quality + Psycho SSR + Ultra settings = An absolutely superb visual-fest in this now.

Any noticeable artifacts when there's fast moving images with frame gen on?

Some more interesting results, i forgot to update my drivers. So retested with both an undervolt and an overclock with both drivers.

Does anyone have a guide on how to get Youtube to recognise HDR content? Recorded this in HDR, rendered it in Davinci Resolve in HDR, video looked ace, but then Youtube had other ideas. Video looks all washed out now and pants. Is it worth just recording in SDR still?

Has youtube also finished processing the HDR version?

you'll know if it's your Davinci output or youtube, record a short clip and upload to youtube right away without doing anything in Davinci. if youtube shows it as HDR after processing, your Davinci output settings need checking.

So @ 4k using quality DLSS all things Ultra/psycho, path tracing off I get 114fps (benchmark) on my 120hz oled so nice place to be.
Same settings with PT and frame gen I get 84 fps, worth it for PT?

PT + ray reconstruction yeah worth it. You get better reflections in most areas, better defition of shadows in all areas, better ghosting reduction in fast motion scenes, better light cast from car headlights, better denoising. It's essentially a no brainer.

Is this a simple case of updating the game and getting the latest drivers? Or would I have to download the dlss files separately?

I'm gonna start a new playthrough shortly, although I was walking around earlier on my old save and Vik called me up with some new stuff, so might be tempted to check out what's new since I have 100% the game on that save.
