*** Cyberpunk 2077 ***

That happened to me too and seems scripted. I had to reload and start again, and the same thing happened, only this time I didn't try to outrun them, but I got out of my car and had a gunfight. That worked.

I had that and some woman with bladed arms chopped me up like I was made out of cheese.

I decided to give CP2077 a third attempt. Actually stuck with it for more than 2 hours this time and to my surprise, this is actually a really good game! Still early days as I've just been introduced to Johnny but I can see myself sticking with it this time

Finally started this. Holy crap does it look amazing in HDR on an OLED, to the point of distraction from the gameplay!

I'm also sold on ultrawide, I'm playing on my TV but have set the resolution to 3840x1600, initially for the extra performance but it's really cinematic. Not sure I'd do that on a monitor but the TV's large enough that the trade off is more than worth it.

It's a bit overwhelming at first, so many abilities and modifiers for weapons etc, but I'm enjoying getting stuck in.

Am I right in thinking if I were to complete the main game then pickup Phantom Liberty later, if I start a new game I can skip straight to that segment and get auto-levelled?

Funnily enough I've had the same-ish experience.

My monitor is 3840x1600 (once you do get used to ultrawide I can't ever imagine going back to 16:9. I'm now firmly 21:9 or 16:10) and it looks really immersive but I was able to use our living room TV (LG OLED) and my god it looked amazing. Just seeing all the neon really pop out looked great.

It looks pretty spectacular on my miniled laptop display but 16" vs 38"/65" just isn't a competition.

Might install this again and give it another go as havent played it since the big updates, never did get too far into it, did enjoy what i played but didnt have time to sink my teeth into it

Hard to sink your teeth into it when you spend more time in menus and constant pop ups requesting jobs. Apart from that I have done 70 hours and just got to the Phantom Liberty part from a first time play through. Seems the DLC is sequenced into the main game. I have plenty tier 5 stuff and gone for a Sandy build with blades and shotty and 300k in eddies. Not sure of how progression works. Is it about to end? Am I half way through? lol no idea. 9/10 from me though so far. Much replay value I think.

There's a new Dodge Challenger Demon SRT car mod out, it looks really god and the most surprising of all is it handles amazingly to the point it is now my default car for going around Night City. Looks amazing too.

I'm still getting some parts of the inner city where I fall through the floor, can't seem to figure out what short of reinstalling the game fresh but that's too much effort so slowly i am just building a mental map of where the floor is dodgy and just avoiding those parts. End of this video you can see what happens:
