*** Cyberpunk 2077 ***

That will be due to running DLSS Performance mode. If you can use DLSS Balanced, then then that would be the upscale quality of choice I'd say.

The flashlight mod is a game changer, already done a bunch of mooching with reed in the dark areas and it's come in handy :D

I cannot believe the torch mod is a thing, why on earth is it not a part of the game! Either way at least we have a torch now

Finally started this after being done with Starfield.

Messed around with a bunch of settings. But in the end settled with DLSS on Quality with RT on Phycho. Mostly stays at 60 fps, but depending on the area can dip into the 40's.

Might have to look at optimising the settings because everything is cranked to maximum. I could try DLSS Balanced but would rather stick to quality.

I already set the fps cap to 60. But would rather mins he in the 50's.

Could cap the whole thing to 45 and play with a controller. But apart from driving, controller seems wrong for this game.

So I started my old save. They have not added any new missions it seems. My map is empty. Just the new Phantom Liberty mission and one called upgrade u.

Basically can sort out my character and get stuck into the dlc :D

I feel a new playthough might be better once I get a 5070 or something. By then path tracing bugs will be fixed too hopefully.

Graphics do look great though. People saying otherwise either have a crap monitor or have an AMD graphics card :p

Apparently there is a torch in the game but only in phantom liberty lol. There's one mission that's in darkness and all of a sudden a torch comes on... What the actual

There's been a torch all this time but they never enabled it as a feature.

I managed to do all my tinkering with perks etc. Went Body, Reflex and Tech this time. Did not want to do hacking this time and can't be asked with stealth. This ain't a stealth game ffs. Lol.

I started the dlc and boy you can do some serious damage with the Katana. Not used my Mantis Blades yet :D

Although I have purchased the update, I’m still playing the original content. 2.0 has changed the game for me, finding it far more enjoyable. My only frustration with the game is the pop-in which is very distracting.

I've had to up the difficulty to very hard as I just feel completely OP already, my damage is still a bit busted but at least the survivability has dropped off (for now) to make things somewhat more of a challenge. At the moment I'm invested into blades & manoeuvrability on the reflex tree, most nodes on the Tech ability tree bar the tech weapons cluster, and I've just started levelling up intelligence to invest into better netrunning.

I'm pretty much just rushing in with one of the iconic katanas that gives 100% crit chance on burning enemies, coupling it with the thermal wrist rockets and some netrunning for pings/dropping overheat.

I'm almost to the DLC by the looks of it, I presume it's introduced around the voodoo boys quests.

Finally got round to re-installing some mods after the update. Starting a new playthrough now which is slightly annoying as I put lots of hours into my previous save and takes me forever to complete games, but I hear its basically a necessity with how many changes were made with 2.0 so I'm happy to do it

yeah I posted yesterday I picked up a sword (katana) and just one shotting everything so I'm not even bothering with guns anymore as I hate bullet sponge mechanics in games

Doing a stealth netrunner build and I'm totally OP, though Oda was a PITA!!!!!

One issue is the RAM costs for hacks goes up with difficulty and you often sit there waiting for RAM to recover. Some enemy netrunners have a 50+ cost increase to hacking, I've currently got 25ish :( Got bored of all the waiting for RAM to recover so I've dropped the difficulty down to hard.
